Black Tie Kids offers an on-site camp-like experience to keep the little ones entertained during a wedding or event so that the adults get to adult!. Black Tie Kids provides onsite childcare and pupcare for weddings and events. We have teams throughout NYC (Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island, Westchester, Southampton) and Southern California (Los Angeles, Long Beach, Inland Empire, Orange County).
We are available for any type of adult focused event including but not limited to weddings, dinner parties, premieres, and company parties. Campers may be attending the event themselves or may just be in town because their parents are attending a wedding/event. While at camp, children will be provided with age-specific games to play, activities, crafts, toys and more.

Q: What makes Black Tie Kids different than if I were to hire a babysitter? A: Black Tie Kids is a wedding and events camp. We bring crafts, games, and activities. We do not babysit for the same family on a day to day basis, and are used to dealing with children being in a new environment and potentially having a hard time separating from their parents.
Are you concerned with the logistics of having your dog being a part of your wedding day? Let us step in and help! As an experienced dog-sitter, I know the importance in making sure your pet is well taken care of while you are celebrating or even while you are away on your honeymoon. We hired Black Tie Pups for our September 2021 wedding to watch our Terrier/Maltese dog, Nori, at our wedding! We really wanted her to be a part of our ceremony but didn't want to bother our wedding party or family to watch her, thank goodness we hired them!
Mollie was quick to respond and was upfront about the costs and information she needed, even providing a quote upon contact. We were matched with Hazel who was wonderful!! We did a meet and greet with her ahead of time which was great for Nori to get to know her before spending the whole day together.

I hired Black Tie Kids a year in advance and had my wedding postponed due to COVID. I had been in contact with Mollie for more than a year and she was incredibly responsive and attuned to the needs of my three pups, one of which was not exactly friendly to strangers and had arthritis. The wedding was held on Catalina Island and both dog sitters were so friendly and kind; they met us in the parking lot in Long Beach and accompanied the dogs on the boat to the hotel. Since we were busy the entire weekend, they fed, walked, and played with the dogs -- each dog had its own meal plan and medication

Horrible. DO NOT HIRE. Doesn't even deserve a 1 star. We booked a pet sitter through her company a year in advance and Mollie emailed us 12 days before our wedding saying the person who was supposed to watch our dog is unable to make it and asked to send final payment. She said she will be securing someone else within the next few days. Who asks for final payment when you're telling someone 12 days before their wedding you don't have someone? I totally get things come up, however if you are running a professional business you would have a back up on top of a back up. Or even have

Mollie and the team at Black Tie Kids were SO amazing at our recent wedding! My ring bearer and flower girl were both around 2 yrs old so the babysitters were really needed to keep them occupied after the ceremony so their parents (and grandparents) could have a great time. They were so professional and really great to work with, and the kids were kept interested and calm. I am so grateful for their help and flexibility, it really took a load off of our stress knowing they were there!

Mollie (the owner) watched our dog for six hours during our wedding. She was super sweet with our pup, who kept wanting to be near me!! Mollie picked him up from our apartment, and brought him to our reception site, watching over him from picture to ceremony to cocktail hour. She made sure he had plenty of water and didn't overindulge in treats during cocktail hour. Mollie took him home, walked him, and fed him, making sure he was safe and sound! Her rates are reasonable and fair, and her communication was clear and often! I definitely recommend Black Tie and Mollie!!

Mollie and Black Tie Kids were such an amazing addition to our wedding! We wanted our siblings to enjoy our wedding day without worrying about their young kids, so Mollie set up a kids table with lots of activities to keep the young ones busy! What an amazing concept. When we were planning our wedding we were scratching our heads trying to figure out what we were going to do with the kids in the bridal party. We love them but also wanted the parents to have a wonderful time. We found them through Instagram as they did an event at the Old Ranch Country Club. Our dog Collin was the ring bearer for our wedding at Cielo Farms Winery on 10.18.18. The logistics involved picking Collin up from the doggie hotel, bringing him to the venue location, hanging out with him until the ceremony then bringing him back to the doggie hotel.
Black Tie Kids (in this case Sofia) was wonderful during the whole process. We felt that Collin was safe and secure and he really took to Sofia.

My husband and I used Mollie's Black Tie Pup services for our wedding and the entire experience was top notch. Our 2yr. old labradoodle, Cosmo, was our ring bearer and immediately loved and respected Mollie, whom we lovingly named our "Au Paw." Cosmo, while well behaved, has separation anxiety and can get overly excited when he sees us. Mollie not only handled Cosmo with care, she had him by her side and focused the entire time. In the haze of my memories of the ceremony I clearly remember seeing Mollie sitting with Cosmo off to the side and he was sitting calmly at attention

We cannot thank Mollie enough for her help with my husband's two boys at our wedding. We knew we couldn't do it alone since we were the bride and groom and needed someone very dependable, organized, and great with kids to be able to make it through the day without any meltdowns! Mollie was on top of everything, arrived on time, knew the day's itinerary and even helped us through the wedding rehearsal. The DAY BEFORE my wedding (this past February 2018), my sister/Matron of Honor (visiting from out of town) asked me if I could find her a babysitter to watch my nephew (an adorable 2 year old, for at least a few hours on the wedding day). Now I love my sister, but was like WHAT IS HAPPENING, I am the bride! lol.

We used Black Tie Kids for our wedding at Millwick in DTLA. We made our wedding to have kids invited since we had so much family out of town. Mollie and her team were so great! She was so prompt to answer emails and figure out logistics and such. I never gave them much direction on where they should set up (MY BAD! haha I was too much of a bridechilla). BUT THEY MADE DO. They put the unused benches in the courtyard together and made a station for them and the kiddos for arts and crafts and activities. THANK YOU! The kids had so much fun. And our family thanked

Black Tie Kids was such a great find for our business!! We are constantly trying to figure out what to do with the little ones the night of a wedding. Most of our clients have "kids free" weddings because they want the parents to be able to enjoy themselves! Black Tie Kids literally solves all the problems! We hired them in July for a wedding.
