Very friendly staff, stayed a few times I have stayed here quit a few times and love it the owner is nice and will work with you if you have a unsure schedule, because I work road construction and don't always know if I will be working on Saturday or not. the breakfast is good. I recently stayed at the Cherokee Inn for almost three months from.

We spoke with the owner every evening, very welcoming, accommodating. The rooms are clean, bed comfortable and affordablely priced. The included breakfast is very good. We had our dogs (2) and the cost for them was extremely reasonable, the flooring (non carpeted) made it super easy for spilled water or kibble clean up. With a mini fridge and microwave in the room right next to the grocery store made our stay that much more affordable.

Excellent! Outstanding! Extraordinary! I can't express enough how much I enjoyed my stay. Incredible staff, very friendly and accommodating, you feel like you're staying in a big house rather than just a hotel. It was amazing and I will definitely be back when I'm in the area. This hotel is not fancy, but everything is nice and new and sparkling clean. The owner is super helpful and attentive and has a real knack for making you feel welcome. The breakfast is pretty awesome: In addition to the usual waffle iron, cereal and toast, you cook your own real eggs and bacon on a restaurant-grade griddle! Much better than the powdered crap you get at the chain hotels.

I stay here every time I go to visit my mom. The rooms are basic, but clean and as luxurious as one can expect to find in this area. Their complimentary breakfast is amazing, and I look forward to it every time we visit. I've always felt a warmness toward this place, and the extent of it was multiplied significantly by my last planned stay there.

This place is very economical for anyone who wants clean, quiet, safe and comfortable. It certainly is not fancy. Manager seems really nice. TV was really quite new and good quality. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was kind of a do-it-yourself with quite a few selections. Only complaint was that house plumber must be on strike or perhaps a real amateur. Toilet seemed loose at the base and grab bars in the bathroom would have been a nice addition. We will stay again if ever in that area of Iowa.

Work brought me into the Cherokee, Iowa. I booked a room at the Cherokee inn and am truly blown away by the quality of the room. Large room; Clean and bright. Everything looks pretty new, beds are very comfortable. Brand new large flat screen TVs with HDMI cables, which was a pleasant surprise. Internet was great speed; no issues. Rooms were cleaned well daily. I'd definitely recommend staying at the Cherokee Inn if you're staying in the area.

Had a wonderful experience here. I was staying here to attend a funeral, so by no means under good circumstances, but I was so grateful to be staying at a hotel that did not contribute to the stress of this trip. The owner was incredibly gracious and welcoming, always making sure your stay was pleasant. It's been newly renovated, very clean, great breakfast and is a great value! If you need to stay in Cherokee, I highly recommend the Cherokee Inn!
