Icon General Contracting Services, LLC (Icon GCS) is a full-service general contractor based in Miami Township, Ohio. We specialize in interior and exterior residential remodeling in and around the Dayton, Ohio area. Eric Van Hoose founded Icon GCS in 2011 with the goal of building relationships within the community.
He has 15 years of experience in the construction industry, spanning the manufacturing, sales, and installation of building materials. Eric has an Associates Degree in Business Management from Terra State Community College, a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Tiffin University, and a Certificate in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

I went in for an interview and got offered the job went home spoke with my wife and accepted the job just to never get a call back text back anything highly highly unprofessional and this all happened before Christmas time with a big family this is one of the most cowardly business owners I've ever met to not even be able to text or call back!!!

These guys were great. I had a smaller project. New Bathroom vent installed, ceiling in the bath painted. They worked me in and did an awesome job. Brian matched 13 yr old paint yellow. And to be honest I had no idea that the match would be that close. The vent team was easy to get along with and kept me up to date. I am pleased with the project and will definitely hire this company again. Thanks Eric and your wife for keeping me in the loop with appts.! And the rest of your team.lol, I can't remember all their names right now, but rest assured, you are all appreciated!

Over the years, I’ve used many different contractors. This group has been fabulous. I recently had them finish my basement. It was a project I had worked on creating in my brain for at least the past several years. Eric and his crew help me incorporate the designs I wanted into my finished basement, down to the very last Pinterest idea! I am extremely happy with the results! This company is top shelf. Next up, kitchen remodel. I plan on hiring them for the job.

Icon remodeled our bathroom last year. They were a joy to work with, very responsive to us and exceeded our expectations. Their prices were very reasonable and they did quality work. When they were wrapping up for the day they always updated us on their progress and cleaned up after themselves. We're getting ready for them to do more work on our property and we are excited to be doing business with them again !
