Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Technique (Animal Chiropractic medicine) is an individualized, hands on type of patient care that specializes in neuromuscular skeletal issues experienced by many animals. These issues include such behaviors as limping, whimpering or whining for no apparent reason, wincing when touched in certain areas and unwillingness to participate in normal activity.
Massage Therapy is beneficial for everyone from age one to one-hundred and one. No matter which type of therapy is chosen, the benefits include: increased circulation, reduced swelling, reduced hypertonic muscles, pain relief, and relaxation. People have also noticed relief of muscle pain and spasms, increased range of motion and flexibility as well as an enhanced overall feeling of well-being.
Dr. Russ can perform allergy assessments with a simple finger prick to draw blood or a urine dip stick to test for reactions to an array of allergens. Tests can detect food allergens from standard American, Asian, Japanese, Mexican or vegetarian diets as well as spices, herbs and common inhalants. Candida and Celiac Antibody Panels are also available.
After the paperwork is completed to the best of your ability, you will consult with the doctor who will take a detailed history of your condition(s). Then an examination will be performed which may include vitals, an orthopedic and neurologic examination, as well as functional exams to get a complete picture of your condition.
