We strive to exceed your expectations in providing quality optometric eye care. We take the time to ensure that you and your family are greeted and cared for by our experienced doctors and staff.
We see eye emergencies every day and the majority of them can be diagnosed and even treated right on the spot. According to the severity and nature of your emergency, we will gladly make room on our schedule for an emergency. In some cases, an injury may mean permanent loss of your vision! We will also get you set up with the correct specialist should your eye emergency warrant referral and we will work on your behalf to get you in ASAP.
This is the first time I have been to AEP and trust in me when I say first impressions are lasting. I was SO impressed by the knowledge and friendliness of the entire staff. I actually felt honored to be there. Everyone was so very helpful and kind. I told my husband how fabulous everyone was and I actually have him coming to see Dr. Hogan and he doesn't go to doctors.

You wont find a better place in the Chicago area to have your eyes checked. They have state of the art equipment but that's not why I go there. I go there because Dr. Hogan does not treat you like a patient, SHE TREATS YOU LIKE FAMILY. She is the best and she hires people of the same caliber. Every one is friendly and welcoming and the costs are reasonable.

Dr. Casey Hogan is very professional and knowledgeable . Goes above and beyond and most of all is very thorough . The staffs are very helpful and welcoming from checking in at the front desks, doctor assistants and opticians. The office is very clean and well organized. They have great frame selections and lenses. I am very happy and satisfied with the service . Thank you Dr. Casey and staff for a great service . I really love my eyeglasses .

I had a great experience visiting this eye doctor for the first time. My visit was for an eye exam. The staff and doctor were all exceptionally friendly. I only gave 4 stars because there were many times I had to wait. I had to wait about 25 mins to be called for my appt and I had to wait as the doctor was making her rounds. Overall, great facility and I would still recommend. I would like to note that Erin Brennan was also amazing in helping me make a glasses frame selection. She was very personable and transparent recommending what was best suitable for my eye prescription.

Dr. Hogan is an excellent eye doctor. She is basically the only eye doctor, who has after several years gotten me to a point - where after multiple issues with past eye surgeries - I am now able to see once again with the aid of scleral contact lenses. She will never give up on helping you - and she will go above and beyond to do everything she can to make sure that you are taken care of - as one of her patients. Her staff are all extremely pleasant - and all well-trained and also very helpful. Even though I have to drive quite a long way for every appointment - I would never hesitate, because

I had my first appt at AEP the other day. One word: AWESOME. The receptionist was very friendly. They were abiding by all the CDC guidelines. Courtney was brilliant and funny, made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Tiffany P was very knowledgeable and took her time explaining everything. The only sliver of an issue was the lady that took my order for new glasses. She added scratch protection without my consent and then she made it seen like a regular charge when I questioned the high bill. I had my eyes dilated so I couldn’t see the form real well. Instead of calling it scratch protection she made

When it comes to your eyes, it’s important to find the right place. Over the years, I’ve seen a number doctors but this was by far, my best experience!
The staff was excellent, I didn’t feel like another number, the doctor I had was phenomenal and did a very good job of educating me on the condition of my eyes.
If you’re looking for a good doctor and a great staff check them out!

My daughter and I went in as new patients, my appointment went well, my daughter not so much. Dr. Told her she had a tear in her retna. She sent her for emergency surgery, ended up not needed it. She was misdiagnosed and we ended up paying a lot for the surgeon to tell her that she was fine. I went to pick up my glasses and the older lady that works there broke then trying to adjust them. They were tiffany frames and I was told that they didn't have anymore in stock so I had to wait weeks for them to be shipped from Italy. My daughters contacts took almost a month to come in 2 different kinds.

I recently just moved to Oak Lawn and needed to find a new eye doctor. I have a few minor eye problems so I needed to find a place that would work with those. The people in this office are great! The office is small, the staff are friendly, and made me feel comfortable. They closed at 7pm the day I was there and I was there past that until about 7:15 or so and they did not rush me out, they worked with me and were so nice. I had Dr. Gamboa and she is fantastic and explains things in words I could understand. I definitely feel as though I made the right choice coming here.
