A California native, Mr. Papp was born and raised in Orange County. Immediately out of high school, Mr. Papp learned the trade of tile and marble setting. After working on custom and tract homes as well as commercial projects for a number of years, Mr. Papp partnered with his brother, Jeffrey Papp, also a tile contractor, and formed a small family contracting business.

It is not so "little" at over 300 pages, but it does contain plenty of gruesome photos of violent attacks as well as some good advice. Again, I caution, reading is not training (especially scenario training), but still a good resource and the authors provide plenty of food for thought.
Kane and Wilder cover the basics (with their own twist) examining, in depth, the following areas: Before Violence Occurs; During a Violent Encounter; and Aftermath of Violence.The book also contains a glossary, interesting appendices as well as a formidable follow on reading list. Not for the faint of heart, but if you are at all interested in studying the topic of violent encounters and self-defense, this book is worth the time.

I contacted Eric's office to ask about a business legal matter, and was amazed at how forthcoming he was in our initial conversation with no mention of payment, consultation fee, how long we could talk, or seemingly any worry about actually "getting" my business. He answered my questions fully, and we ended the conversation. I did end up hiring Eric to prepare the business paperwork I needed, and was happy to feel confident in having the papers prepared professionally. Michael Papp...excellent attorney... he gave me his time and advise on a small claims matter. Mr. Papp listened to my problem and situation like it was the most important case of his day. With this type of attitude, professionalism and heart I wouldn't go anywhere else for an attorney or legal advise....I a retired police officer and didn't think much of any attorney, but Mr. Papp changed that today.
