Rand and his sons have been doing this for 40 years! We focus on offering extremely clean hand-picked used cars, generally less than 3 years old.
Our inventory represents the "catch of the day" - if it's not a good deal, we won't sell it. Our business is based on providing the easiest and most transparent way of buying a car. Because our cars sell fast, anybody may hold a car (prevent other people from buying it) with a signed contract of sale and a deposit of $100 per day.

Rand Patterson is the founder of Rand's Auto Sales. Rand began Rand's Auto Sales with 3 cars and a dream in 1981. Rand is probably the best buyer in the United States. Including wholesale work in the early days, he has bought and sold over 100,000 cars. During his 40+ years in the car industry he has forged many relationships with Auctions and Financial Companies.

BUY YOUR CAR HERE TRUST ME! I had the best car buying experience ever. Corbin was amazing! I got the exact car I’ve been looking for at a great price! They had tons of options! I had a few bad experiences with big name dealerships but these guys weren’t pushy or crazy at all. 10/10 I’m so happy with my car and my service here. :)

Actually I haven't been to many dealers to buy a vehicle but Rands was great. They were very open and above board. They showed us where all the money was going. I had done all my "shopping" online and found a good price on my Highlander..... there at Rands. They gave us a fair deal on our trade in too. Thanks to Mike and the boys.

I only have great things to say about my experience at Rand's. I was attracted to Rand's because they had a few RAV4s that had good looking vehicle history reports. The test-driving and purchasing experience was hassle-free and the workers were all helpful and pleasant to interact with. They actually stand behind the vehicles they sell and were willing to help me out with a slight tire issue AFTER I bought the car. You will be hard-pressed to find any dealership that would do something like that. I hope I can talk my partner out of buying a new vehicle, so I can purchase another used vehicle from

My son recommended Rand's. He had bought several cars there in the past and was extremely happy with the service and price of the vehicles he purchased. A breeze to work with! Bought a car with them in 2019. We went to so many dealers during our car buying process and they were the nicest, most helpful, and had the best deals. Also offered us the best trade in value. Unfortunately the car was totaled in 2020 in an accident, but they then worked with us very, very quickly to get our refund for the service contract we had purchased. Had I not moved out of state, I would have 100% bought our next vehicle from them. The car buying process from Rand's was headache free and we were never pressured. Seriously, check them out!

I highly recommend Rand’s Auto Sales in Salt Lake City. I live out of state and was shopping on line for a used Audi. They made the whole experience easy and efficient! Their pricing was superior to any other used Audi listed on line and their service was incredible! Within minutes they got me approved for a loan which had an incredible rate. JR the salesperson picked me up at the airport and made the entire sales process easy and comfortable. This was the best car buying experience of my life. It took less time and was less pressure than a Worldmark time share presentation. Corbin was great to work with and was awesome to accommodate my busy schedule. There was no "I need to go talk to my manager" games. Everything was straight forward and transparent. I appreciate their professionalism and will recommend them to all my people!

So I was online all week looking at cars I was interested in.... I found Rand's and was concerned because I had never heard of them before! So on my first day off we headed up to Rand's to check out the cars. We looked at the cars on the lot and they had three. I went inside and Caleb was there! I told him what I was interested in and he grabbed the keys! He took a copy of my license and I was off on a test drive ! The process was so easy and absolutely no pressure! Caleb handled the financing while we went back to grab a check! By the time we got back...financing was done and the car

My family has used Rand's auto for a long time. My parents have purchased multiple cars from Rand's and we purchased a van and a truck early on in our marriage. My siblings and two of our children have also bought cars from Rand's. Our youngest daughter went to Rand's recently to purchase a vehicle and was treated so terrible by the salesman. It was very surprising. He treated my daughter and I like we were annoying him and we were bothering him. If you are planning on purchasing a car from Rand's, don't use Corbin as your salesman. Use Cayden. He is the one to ask

We had a great experience here. We wanted a very specific van and they did not have it, but they were very helpful showing us other options. I never felt pressured or annoyed at the sales man. He never tried to get us to spend more money and only showed us options above our price range when we asked. I wish we would have found what we wanted here because I prefer to work with small businesses, but we will be back next time we need a vehicle and I'd recommend them to any of my friends.

Have boughten many vehicles in the past and from many different dealerships. This place has many clean and low mileage vehicles to choose from. They were very helpful and the buying process was simple. They were not pushy at all which is what I loved about them! Definitely will buy future vehicles from Rand's. This place is legit! I got a new car (with a trade-in )in less than an hour! I'm so grateful with these guys they went above and beyond! Friendly staff, transparent fees (well explained) and excellent cars inventory. The best part is that is a Family Business that keep growing up thanks to their excellent service and products!

My second time purchasing a car from a dealership, and it was a great experience. They had an extra warranty through a third party company, but it was not pushed on me, like some other places would. I simply said no, and that was it.
They just happened to have a car I was looking for in their inventory. Called ahead and was handed the keys for a test drive in minutes. Most of the cars in the inventory seem like they belonged to rental companies, which most likely means they were maintained pretty well. Rand's is like no other dealers I've been to. No haggling, no obscure fees, no flashy salesmen trying to set you up. Just nice people working to match you with your dream car. I was looking at buying a 2015 RAV 4, and Weston was very pleasant to work with. He trusted us (our jaws dropped when he just gave us the key and told us we had the car for ourselves as long as we needed to drive around and have it checked with an independent mechanic), and was very upfront about pricing. We spent a little more than 10 minutes on the numbers to get a very reasonable deal. I can't recommend
