Nicole has been doing hair in the Old Bridge, Sayreville area for over 25 years. She has always dreamt of having a salon where all felt comfortable, welcomed and like family. In September of 2014, she brought her dream to fruition when she opened NikkiSnips Hair Salon. Prior to opening, Nicole began her education in the industry through Old Bridge High School.
Throughout her years of experience, she has become an Ecru Specialist, became certified in Magic Sleek and has worked at New York Fashion Week. In order to keep up with the latest trends and styles, Nicole is always attending classes and also attends business management classes. She has always been involved in the community and helps out anyway she can.

I am so glad I found Nicole and the staff at Nikki Snips. I came in with burnt out over bleached hair looking to go back to my darker hair. Nicole took the time to listen, and she was able to get my hair to a beautiful brown color even though the bleached hair had been so over processed. She takes her time, and she really just wants me to be satisfied with my hair. Well, I definitely have been so happy with the results on both occasions. Thank you for helping me and making me feel so comfortable!

Nikki nails it every time! So much so that when I lived out of state and I flew home for my graduation, I booked my appointment with her as soon as possible. Now that I’m back, I wouldn’t go anywhere else, wouldn’t dream of it!
I would be remiss not to mention the rest of the staff – Robyn and the girls are also the sweetest, and nicest; Always making me feel welcome whenever I am there.

Wonderful experience!! This was my first time going there and they were able to give me a same day appointment. The people were super nice from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. LisaMarie cut my hair exactly how I asked. She asked my opinion and gave me her recommendations. Nothing but a positive experience from beginning to end. I will definitely be back.

Nicole has been doing my children’s hair for years. She knows how to cut my daughter’s curls perfectly and she even gives her a “grownup blowout” which makes her feel very special. My son is disabled and non verbal and haircuts have always been difficult. Nicole used to follow him around her salon cutting his hair. He’s so comfortable now that the last time we were there he sat in the chair the whole time. She genuinely cares about her clients and it shows in her work. Highly recommend this salon!

I have 3b to 3c hair and they did not know how to straighten my hair. My hair was poofy and there were still some curls in my hair. I’ve heard that this place was really nice, and the staff is in fact very friendly. I paid $40 to go home right after the appointment and restraighten all my hair. They do straight to wavy hair very nicely…. but i personally didn’t have the best experience. I still recommend this place, but not for curly hair.

Everyone was really nice here but I am extremely unhappy with the haircut I received. The back of my head was shaved in a way that I could not have imagined in any haircutting scenario. I waited a week for an appointment with the person there who works with curly hair, brought in two pictures of what I was thinking I wanted. Very much unlike the pictures my hair is now shaved up higher in the back than it is on the sides. The rest looks nice and the haircut was not rushed at all but I'm comically missing the back portion of my hair. I'm not too sure why it is shaved at all. Maybe there was a miscommunication

Yesterday was my first time at the salon. I just moved to the area 3 months ago and was looking for a salon and saw all the awesome reviews. I am so happy I stumbled across this salon! Everyone is super sweet and friendly and made me feel like a friend. Not to mention they have other services besides doing hair so that’s a huge plus! Thank you again girls!

I can’t even express in words how great this salon is. You feel completely comfortable as soon as you walk through the door. Everyone on their staff from the owner down to the receptionist is super friendly, welcoming and sweet. The talent here is amazing as well. This is a salon that truly cares about their clients more than the dollar. I have had magic sleek, hair coloring, conditioning treatments and blowouts and have been 100% happy every time. Every time I get in the chair, I trust them completely. Whatever your hair needs are, this is the place for you.

This is a a great salon. The staff is very friendly as well as talented. The prices are good and it is very easy to book an appointment on their website. Taylor has been cutting and styling my hair for a few years now. My hair always turns out great and her blowouts last for days!!! I highly recommend this salon.

All the other stylists are SO nice. The girl who shampoos hair is super nice and friendly as well. Everyone in the salon makes an effort to make you feel comfortable; offering refreshments, cookies, or chairs if you're standing for whatever reason.

Stephanie was the stylist who did my coloring..they colored my hair thrice which has ruined my hair quality a lot. Also din do the color I had asked for at all. Gave me a completely diff color from what I had asked her to do. Wouldn't go back. And on top of that they wanted to charge me more than what they quoted me.
