We care for trees because we love our planet. If you need tree care services, advice from our Treecologists, new trees, or want to learn how to heal our planet, let's chat!. This is why we care for trees. Our goal is to increase the health and population of trees to overcome pressing environmental issues and restore the balance of life on Earth.

To attain this vision, we preserve, plant, and promote trees in a manner that maximizes positive benefits for members of all ecosystems. We're seeing a decrease in biodiversity, rise of air pollution, loss of our topsoil, disappearing drinking water, and an increase in oxidized carbon in our atmosphere - just to name a few.

Intelligent men working hard with their hands for an excellent outcome. Our large bank of old azaleas were dying back, choked with honeysuckle and English Ivy. Josh, Peter and Timothy (in the photo) came out today, and worked their tails off to save our remaining azaleas. The crawled in, under and around, and hand pulled all of the offending vines and volunteers. They laid down cardboard to stop the vines returning, and added mulch for plant health and appearance. They did an amazing job. The azaleas now have a chance, and I am so thankful. We still have some light tree pruning on the books, and

They offer great services; not only do I use them for tree maintenance, but also for my soil with their fertilization treatment.

They really know what they are doing. I had some concerns and rather run in with saws blazing, they did a thoughtful evaluation and determined which trees were manageable and which were a safety/health issue. Really impressed by their exemplary B Corp certification and general leadership/integrity they bring to the community.

Leaf & Limb knows trees and does really good, careful work. Their estimator Zeb was thorough and very courteous. I learned so much about our trees from their visit, which included work on red maples damaged by storms a couple of years ago, turning a young double trunk tulip poplar into a single trunk and trimming back an old Bradford pear. They worked morning to mid-afternoon and cleaned up everything. No trace they were here besides the beautiful work they left behind.
They could have made extra money by also removing the overgrown crepe myrtles we'd like to replace. But Leaf & Limb apparently

Outstanding service, exceeded expectations from start to finish, on every dimension: customer service; responsiveness and timeliness; courtesy; cost for value; and the actual tree trimming. Matt did my initial consultation and he was so knowledgeable and informative and the guys who did the trimming were great. Can't recommend this company highly enough, proud to have a business like this in Raleigh!

I highly recommend Leaf & Limb with absolutely no reservations! The entire process, from start to finish, was seamless. Craig came out to inspect my trees and provided a quote within minutes of leaving - he was very knowledgeable! Kelly and Peter came out to trim my trees and did a fantastic job. The tree I had trimmed was a very large oak tree with branches extending over my roof. Kelly and Peter were able to remove the branches without and damage to my home or porch. After they finished, they did an excellent job cleaning up, which I really appreciated. Overall, I am very satisfied with their

I've never posted a review before the service I was receiving was completed, but in this case, I am making an exception, and will write a two part review. Leaf and Limb arrived to do a fairly significant amount of tree work. The crew they sent was fantastic. Leo took his time to explain everything that was going to be done, and explained the care they would put into the service they were going to provide. We had to make a few decisions about certain aspects of the service, and Leo laid out all of my options, and worked through them with me. He gave me a great sense of security through his professionalism

Great company! Easy to work with, communication was very thorough, cost was very reasonable for tree work. Greyson showed up for my free consultation on time and I didn't feel rushed at all. I was able to express my concerns and have them addressed. It was really helpful to be reassured about my trees and get an expert opinion, as this is something I had never done.

I had several trees trimmed/pruned/scary dead limbs removed and I feel much better having all that done. The scheduling for the tree work itself was easy and breezy and the day of my appointment, everything went smoothly. I will

Leaf & Limb removed several trees removed from our backyard in Cameron Park. Kelly was straightforward and easy to work with, and the work was completed as estimated and scheduled. Would hire again.

Our experience with Leaf and Limb was excellent from start to finish. The estimator who came to our house was very polite, professional and knowledgeable.
The tree removal service went very smoothly and we are very happy with the quality of the work.
During the job one of their tractors made a muddy mess in our driveway, but before we mentioned it, they offered, and at their expense, had a pressure washing service come and clean the entire driveway, as well our sidewalk and porch which had not been messed up.
They were very good at communicating to us about when the service would be performed

Had to have a 120'+ 60+ year-old pine in a tight corner removed from the back yard, near a shed and two fences, plus a lot of neighbors. We did have the luxury of having the lot next door vacant with permission for access, so we had to move a fence, but it gave them great access to the tree in our back yard. Also had to have an out-of-control crepe myrtle taken down and its stump ground. Greyson called ahead and showed up as promised for the quote, and was able to fit us in within a week or so. He answered all our questions and concerns and the quote sent to us had great detail with pictures and

The guys that came to my house were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable in their expertise and the job they were about to undergo. They were very careful while removing trees that were over hanging my house as well as very close to my house. The post work clean up was amazing, it was almost like they were never here. During the work they gave me some great advise and information on the health of other trees in my yard, plating new trees, etc. The most attractive thing was the price. I had about 3 quotes and they beat the price by at least $1,000. If you are looking

We had the team cut down our ugly monster hedge and clear out our side yard tree line which was overgrown with a variety of vines, briers, and who knows what all else. They were quick to respond to provide quote and even with all the messy rain this fall managed to get the work done in a timely manner. What impressed me the most was how clean they left our property. We have used other providers for this type of work before and I am left doing some form of clean up. Not with the Leaf & Limb. Absolutely recommend them and will use them again.

Leaf & Limb was one of three professionals that we solicited bids from for the removal of two maple trees on our lot. We have a small yard, and needed a professional service. Leaf and Limb was prompt with their consultation and competitively priced. They were not the lowest price, but their professionalism and obvious knowledge set them apart.

After accepting their bid, they actually were able to take care of the work sooner than committed. The worksite was spotless after they cleaned up.

We have used them twice now and have been pleased with our service both times. For our first service call, they removed a stump from a pear tree in our back yard. Their service was promt and their price was reasonable.

More recently, we called them to remove two holly bush stumps in our front yard. They gave me an estimate over the phone, and when they came to remove the stumps, he called to let me know that there were more branches than he originally though (this was my own fault- my husband and I had cut down the bushes and waited a while to schedule stump removal so the bushes had started

We were very pleased with our tree removal from Leaf & Limb!

They were recommended by our neighbors. We have several trees in our backyard, but we had two VERY large pine trees that were a little too close to the house for comfort. We also wanted to remove a few small sweet gums because I HATE sweet gums!

Now, I love trees (that are not sweet gums), and really hate cutting them down. I imagine that is a dilemma in the tree industry, too... because clearly arborists must LOVE trees, right? But they make their living cutting them down! One of the most attractive things about Leaf & Limb
