Services
Perfect Setting Catering was founded in 1991 by Deborah and Jerry Diehl as a full-service custom catering company providing services to your home, office or as a preferred caterer to a wide range of unique event facilities throughout the Delaware Valley. Our approach has met with the approval of our many loyal Main Line, Philadelphia, and New Jersey clients.
As a medium-sized custom catering company, Perfect Setting is able to take a highly individualized "hands-on" approach to each and every event. From the first time we meet to discuss your vision, through menu planning, vendor referrals, floor plans, dcor, and the event timeline, to the supervision of the party itself, you can expect a highly personalized experience from beginning to end.
Weddings by Perfect Setting Catering begin with the fundamentals: the freshest vegetables and greens and the choicest meats, fish and poultry, all delivered daily from the wholesale markets in Philadelphia. Wedding menus are organized or "prepped" at our production kitchen in Berwyn under the supervision of Head Chef Monica Mejia.
Perfect Setting has been an off-premise custom caterer to Philadelphia and the Main Line for over 25 years. We pride ourselves in creating fresh, seasonal and unique menus. Our team is happy to tailor menus to meet your specific needs and requirements. Substitutions and alternative menu suggestions are always an option.

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful our experience(s) were with Perfect Setting Catering. Between Deb, Jerry, and their team, they helped to craft what was the best 3-day wedding weekend we could have possibly imagined!
Guests were treated with a full bar and wait staff for our rehearsal dinner held at Meadowbrook Estate, a wonderfully catered wedding at Appleford Estate, and a Farewell BBQ party that everyone is still talking about.

We had our wedding catered by Perfect Setting Catering. When we met with Nicole for our tasting we truly loved our experience. She customized our menu instead of giving us a package and telling us to pick from it or pay to change. It was definitely different planning a wedding during a pandemic, but Nicole and Perfect Setting were so friendly, flexible and accommodating. In fact, Nicole made a perfect suggestion for Jeff and I when our location had to change due to COVID regulations – and we are so grateful for being able to have our first dance where we originally planned! The food….oh my

If I could give a thousand stars, I would! Perfect Setting outdid themselves for my recent wedding. Guests are still talking about how delicious the food was, best food they've ever had at a wedding. The best way to describe our Daughters wedding experience using Perfect Settings is in the name of the caterer, PERFECT. Deb and her staffs attention to detail from signing with them to clearing the venue was excellant. All our quest kept saying, was how delicious everything tasted and how well the reception flowed.

Jerry and his team at Perfect Setting were wonderful to work with from start to finish. We are so glad we chose them as the catering team for our wedding. Jerry was very professional, responsive, and flexible. He listened well throughout the process to our hopes and vision for our wedding day, and made it happen, while also providing us with helpful input based on his years of experience. Perfect Setting Catering was fantastic! My wife and I could not have asked for anything better! Jerry was on site the entire time ensuring our event went off without a hitch. They were on time, professional, courteous, and saw to every person's needs. The staff was perfectly attentive. The food was SUPERB!
