My name is Rama Nayeri, and I was born in Iran and migrated to the US in 1984 in a time where Iran and Iraq were not playing nice. After a year of living in Westlake Village my family settled in Irvine where I grew up.
As the daughter of a surgeon and teacher, you might wonder how I became a landscape designer. My father wanted me to be a doctor, but medicine was not for me. I even sat in on an operation as a teenager; when your father is a surgeon you get exposed to things normal kids would never see! In 1994, I started a career in architecture at Saddleback College only to realize it just wasn't the right fit.

Services
We retained Rama to create a design plan for our front yard after removing all of the turf lawn. We were looking to replace it with California native plants. Rama gave us a superb plan with several options. She helped us select the plants at the nursery and followed through with the landscape contractor who did the installation and supervised the planting.
This half hour (minimum) service is designed to review your garden needs and to assess the current conditions of your space. Suggestions will be made and ideas will be given to give you a peak at what is possible in your space. Thereafter a contract will be written for full garden design and emailed within 48 hours after initial meeting.
Rama took my rough ideas and created a plan for a garden that is much more visually pleasing and inviting. Even better - it requires less water. Additionally, Rama stayed involved and very accessible throughout our work with the contractor. Since I knew nothing about California native plants I was only able to tell Rama characteristics that I wanted - color, size, etc.
