Located on the northern side of Vallejo, our space provides a comfortable, calming respite from the everyday. Enjoy a cup of tea and incredible conversation as you ease into your appointment. Located on the northern side of Vallejo, Ritual Acupuncture Clinic is adjacent to the Vallejo's medical community including Sutter Medical and Cancer Center, Parkside Medical Plaza, and Kaiser Hospital.
The length of treatment differs widely depending on the person and the condition that is being treated. Acute conditions like a cold or an acute injury will often only require a few treatments. Chronic conditions, including PMS, asthma, and chronic back pain, will generally require treatment over a longer period of time.
Our clinic is currently out of network with most insurance companies. This allows us to provide high quality care and not let treatment be dictated by insurance limitations. PPO health insurance plans with acupuncture benefits will be processed by our billing department. We will verify your insurance information at your first visit.
At Ritual, we recommend traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine and nutritional supplements to compliment your treatment program. In house, we partner with local Chinese herbal establishments to provide classical herbal formulas or create personalized herbal prescriptions. Your program may be an integrative approach of both eastern and western supplements.

I would definitely provide more stars if I can. When I say everyone is so nice and caring, I mean I haven't been to a place in a while were people are as nice as they are. The knowledge and work Dr. Joel provide is amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone without a question. The vibe the spiritual of it is just beautiful.

To Ritual Acupuncture, Thank you so much! I am glad that I was referred to the place by my primary doctor. I was lucky to have met Dr. Joel when I was having trouble breathing and palpitations. He was able to calm me down and let Novella, my acupuncturist, continue her magical touch. She is so impressive, wonderful and a miracle worker who helped me on my pains before and after my lumbar surgery. She's very dedicated to her role in my well being. She's so full of positive energy, great smile, very caring and out of this world hilarious sometimes. We share a lot of laughters during my sessions.

I had an instant connection with Dr. Joel on my first visit, which was key for me to move forward with RA, then it turned out we had same alma mater. Dr. Joel is definitely a master in his craft. He is very impressive, with innate talent. He has a genuine passion for his role in people's well being. He is very knowledgeable, dedicated, caring and amazing overall being/practitioner. His team are also a group of loving & caring individuals. I always leave my sections feeling very zen. I couldn't have asked for a better team to nurture me to good health.

Dr. Joel and staff are amazing! He really knows his work and healed my pain from a 100% painful injury down to 30% in just 4 sessions!!!(still doing treatments) I love him! He's great and very personable. He really checks the area first and finds where he needs to put the needles and how deep to put them. He's very thorough and does his assessments well. This man really knows his holistic work! I'm very impressed with Dr. Joel and very happy and relieved. Kudos!!!

Love everything about Ritual. The moment you walk through the door you are greeted by friendly staff. They always take the time to check in and ask how you are feeling and if you are having any new conditions they need to know about. Joel is an amazing acupuncturist. I don’t know how he remembers the little things that are going on in your life-he just really seems to care and want you to feel better. I’ve also had massage with Benn and it is wonderful. Super relaxing and my muscles feel amazing after. Ritual really cares about your health!
