I think they cut off a couple of 3/8’” thick pieces of leftover prime rib and fried it then served it to us as 8 oz “ribeye” steak. That or they actually cut one ribeye steak in half to make two orders…And then griddle fried that.
We had ordered Rare to medium rare and it was absolutely cooked leather through.
The substitution suspicion is born worn out by the fact that they were out of every other steak.
It would’ve been better if they just said they were out of steak and we could’ve ordered something else vs being cheated.

The bar and the restaurant are separated and we were only on the restaurant side. Good food with very good prices. Service is kinda slow but very friendly.
We will be back.
