I don't even know where to begin - this place is unreal. Brita, Devlin, and Hannah know what makes the Adirondacks so special, and they package it up and help you create the most beautiful wedding of your dreams. I was married this September and everything was perfection. The food, staff, vibes, property, and accommodations all exceeded expectations and then some. Don't pass up the after party in the lean-to, it was my FAVORITE part of the whole night. All of my guests reiterated many times that is was the best wedding they have ever been to, and there are so many reasons for that. The effort Great

Was very excited to stay at Great Pines as their Instagram makes it look beautiful. We arrived to see a staff member vaping in a guest room while delivering towels. The woman at the front desk was less than friendly. Our $250 cabin had many spider webs, leftover dog food on the floor, heavily stained carpets, crusty substance on the curtains, dog hair on the blankets, the jacuzzi tub filled about 1/3 of the way before it ran out of hot water, the bathroom had bugs and water spewing from the sink and the the front door of the cabin had a gap at the bottom where you could see outside allowing a draft

Very overrated and not worth the money. Half the balcony is taped off with yellow construction tape and off limits to customers. The lobby is very unwelcoming along with the woman behind the desk. I brought my family of five in the lobby to check out the rustic rooms within the lobby and she seemed very annoyed that we were there. The lobby looks shut down with no lighting and a completely empty bar, it basically looks like the place is out of business during the week. I just thought with spending $330 a night I could use and check out all the amenities this place has to offer, however, there are

This stellar review is long overdue. In November of 2020, my husband and I got married at Great Pines. We began the process of planning our wedding earlier in the year, right at the beginning of COVID. For months, the weight of the pandemic caused us much anxiety about what our wedding would look like and whether or not we should move forward with planning it. The owners and the wedding organizer, Hannah, answered all of our questions, worked with us with outside vendors, and were very lenient with changes that had to be made to our contract due to the constant guidelines from the CDC. I have heard

WOW is an understatement, everything about Great Pines is magical for those looking for a rustic yet fun getaway in the mountains. It's a beautiful lakefront property with kayaks for usage and beautiful docks. I stayed in room 5, would highly recommend staying in the main lodge upstairs as it overlooks the beautiful lake. Truly a memorable experience, thanks to the amazing owners and friendly staff. The bed was also super comfortable and they have great coffee in the morning. I'm already excited to return and I just left today. Would highly recommend for a couple, solo, or family getaway! Tons

We stayed a few nights for our anniversary with our 2 dogs mid-April 2021. To say that this place is “pet friendly” is an understatement and our pups had an absolute blast! And, considering that pets are allowed on premises, we were absolutely amazed with how spotlessly clean our room was. The staff was friendly, professional, and accommodating. They perfectly balanced both giving us our privacy while simultaneously making sure that all our needs were met and that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Sunsets on the lake were romantically serene.

We just spent a wonderful weekend at Great Pines. I cannot express how comfortable we felt during these "Covid times". They are extremely conscious of keeping everyone safe without it interfering in the experience. Charlotte at the front desk is a gem and a wonderful asset to the Inn. She knows the area well!
Our 6 course dinner was amazing! I highly recommend it to anyone who stays here. The Lean-To was perfect for an "adult beverage" after an afternoon of snowshoeing!
Thanks for a great stay! Hope to see you in 2022!

Currently The Lodge is closed and they're using it as overflow for the Lean-To, but there are two 2-tops in front of the fireplace, and the gift shop has been converted into a private chef's table for an intimate and unique dining experience. Eight of us ate at the chef's table two nights ago, and it was an experience that I can only describe as incredible. It truly was an experience and was probably one of the best meals of my life. Great Pines has a new chef, Chef Brian, and what he served us was on the theme of surf and turf. The first course was a beef carpaccio with bacon jam

Both my wife and I considered the food here among the best we've ever had. Creative cuisine, reasonable number of menu options, attractively presented. Service very attentive, without being intrusive. That, and the great view of the lake made for a memorable dining experience we look forward to repeating. Five stars all the way around.

Well the waiter forgot to tell us the specials. The scallops tasted very good and seasoned well. The egg plant was cut in three slices which was too thick, it was not cooked well in the skin was left on which left a very bitter taste. There was no flavor with the egg plant at all. The salmon was cooked well and tasted great. The main entrée came and our dirty plates were still left on the table. The place has a long way to go, before it is fine dining. Service are lacking the small details.

Really beautiful Adirondack restaurant since it was redone! Overall, the food was great! We got the ADK hush puppies, the strawberry summer salad, and the pot stickers to start, all of which were good, and a good portion size. For dinner, my mom got the salmon and thought it was great, my dad got the pork chop and thought it was great, and I got the sweet potato gnocchi, but asked for vegetables instead of chicken. It was a good dish, but very salty. Not sure if it was the sauce, but very salty, and the gnocchi did not taste like sweet potato. Overall, staff were great and the view

This place is great. They did tons of renovations and they did not cheap out my cousin and I came for a snowmobile weekend and they were the best. They let us check in early so we could get the sleds. Room was clean with plenty of room. Met the owner shortly after the band played at the bar and he really cares and wants feedback to make this place better. If your looking for a good place to stay I would say spend the extra few bucks and check this out. Cold breakfast in the morning with green mountain coffee too.

Four of us decided to try the Lodge at Great Pines as it has recently reopened.
We arrived early for cocktails. They have a good selection of wines and bourbons. Jacob, the bartender, was very friendly and was a good conversationalist.
We started with 2 apps. The Seared scallops with red pepper hummus was delicious as were the chicken and lemon grass potstickers.
We had the Seared pork chop with apple bourbon glaze and the NY strip.
The Pork chop came with mashed sweet potatoes and mixed vegetables. The NY strip came with a sauted onion risotto. Both were very delicious.

Just arrived back at our cabin after a phenomenal date night dinner at The Lodge at Great Pines. We had lobster bisque and hush puppies as appetizers. Both were delicious! My husband had the dry aged NY strip steak, which was cooked perfectly to temperature. I had the pork chop, which was one of the best I've ever had. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is beautiful. We can't wait to come back!

Fantastic meal! Great service - both bar & table. Food was amazing- fresh, flavorful & interesting.
We started with 2 salads - arugula (great!) and a caprese (very good, but portion size is way out of control, seriously needs to be half the amount!). Entrees were the pork chop & the catfish. Both were enjoyed immensely.
Somehow we managed 1 dessert to share & the limoncello cake was a no brainer for us. Tart, tangy, yummy! Fantastic coffee & espresso to go with the cake were the perfect ending.
We felt our bill was very reasonable for the quality of food & service.

I seldom give restaurants 5 stars but this one deserves it. The owner was engaged and kept our boys entertained w drinks and corn bread while we had a drink at the Lean-To. Our party of 8 was seated promptly and 3 of us enjoyed Maple Scouts, a bourbon drink. Appetizers were a Caesar salad, corn chowder, mussels and hush puppies. Everything was delicious but the hush puppies were just okay (but they were still eaten). I had the dry aged steak and it was great, cooked perfect. Kids had pasta and the other had chicken Caesar salad and they ate it all. Others had jambalaya, ravioli, and the halibut
