Hello, my name is Cynthia Chamberlain. I'm a Overland Park acupuncturist providing gentle and personalized acupuncture treatments for pain and many other ailments. I serve the residents of Overland Park, KS and Kansas City, MO. I'd like to welcome you to my web site where you will find a great deal of information on Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, or what is also referred to as Complimentary Alternative Medicine.
I've prepared this information so you can learn how to benefit from a natural and effective form of health care that has been around for more than 2,500 years. Growing numbers have sought out acupuncturists for chronic pain and health problems when conventional medicine either hasn't worked nor has answers.

Chronic pain, whether from a pinched nerve, sciatica, arthritis or other conditions can be very frustrating for the sufferer. It is often difficult to treat nerve pain with traditional medications as nerve pain does not respond well to prescription pain relievers, including narcotics. If you suffer from chronic pain and you are unable to find relief, you may find help by using alternative medicine treatments.
Hello, my name is Cynthia Chamberlain, DiplAc, DiplCH. I am a practicing Licensed Acupuncturist in Overland Park, treating infertility with Acupuncture and helping women increase their chances of getting pregnant by as much as 50%. Did you know that treating Infertility with Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine has been recorded in our ancient texts, and even on the backs of turtle shells for thousands of years?
When you find it hard to sleep and it begins to impact your life, you might try almost anything to seek relief from your problem. One of the most beneficial and interesting ways to treat insomnia is to try out a very old, proven alternative treatment. One really good ancient alternative insomnia treatment is acupuncture.
Depression is a sign that the body is not in balance. Life altering events such as the loss of a loved one, can cause the body to be in a constant state of stress. If stress is not managed, depression can manifest itself in many forms. To be diagnosed with depression, the symptoms should be present for a period of at least two weeks.
Are you stressed out? Feeling anxious for no reason? Has your anxiety become so pronounced that your heart begins to palpitate and you're not quite sure what is happening to you? You may be suffering from panic attacks, a very real disease that if not under control can leave you in a constant state of stress.

Cindy is an amazing acupuncturist! I always leave feeling relaxed and have the best night of sleep after seeing her. Her positive energy is contagious and I am grateful for her knowledge, kindness, and services. Ashley, Kari and John are also friendly, helpful wonderful people to work with whether it's regarding scheduling, billing, buying herbs or general questions! I recommend Cindy to anyone who is interested in acupuncture!

Cindy is a miracle worker! We tried unsuccessfully for 4 years to get pregnant going through 4 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs. After a couple months of acupuncture we conceived naturally and now have a happy 1 year old. I recently went back to Cindy for another round of acupuncture to try for a second and we are expecting in December :) I would highly recommend Cindy if you struggle with anxiety, PCOS, and infertility.

Cindy Chamberlain has hands down changed my quality of life. From the time I was 12 years old, I've suffered from chronic migraines. The only thing that ever stopped them in their path was getting to sleep, at the first sign. As I've gotten older, I've developed chronic neck pain, which I believe, has been the main cause of more advanced body numbing, debilitating, migraines. After having my second child in 2016, I was experiencing the most neck pain I've ever had, as well as more frequent migraines that kept me from my career and being with my family. My mother recommended I see Cindy right away
