Medication non-adherence can lead to worsening health conditions, hospitalizations and death. Whatever the reason is for medication non-adherence, we have a solution for you.
Do you ever find it difficult to keep up with your medication refills and picking up your medications? If you answered yes, you may benefit from medication synchronization. Med Synchronization, also called med sync, is a program we offer here at the pharmacy to help synchronize your medication refills so that you will be able to pick up ALL of your medications on a single day each month.
Medication therapy management, otherwise known as MTM, is a term used for a program to help you manage your medications and health conditions. Do you want to know how best to take your medications to get the most from your medications?. Would you like to have a complete list of the medications you take for your personal use?.
They were able to communicate with my Drs office and have my script ready fast. If your on vacation in Ocean Bay Park or the surrounding area, this is the Pharmacy you want to use. They will even deliver, not sure the fee. If you take the 11:40 on a weekday from the islad, you can walk to Shore Drug and be back in time for the 12:50 back to Ocean Bay Park.

Historically I have loved Shore Drug and want to support a local business but … This week I purchased a BinaxNow instant COVID test and they are completely price gouging people when they are in need the most - this is the opposite of taking care of your community! They charged me DOUBLE THE PRICE- $50- going rate at CVS/Walgreens is $25.

I have been going to shore drugs for over 20 years the staff is awesome hey today December 23rd 3:00 pm they got delivered hundreds of rapid covid test nobody has them the owner will take care of you along with the staff I just picked up 2 boxes for friends my whole family goes their Why Because THEY CARE. This establishment has some weird energy. I went in for an interview and I felt very disrespected. The first time I went in, the woman owner wasn’t even there for our scheduled interview. The second time around, I come in and she asks what my name is. I tell her and she makes a strange face and doesn’t even attempt to call me by my name.
During the interview, she tells me this:
“Even if one of my employees had an infant at home with a nanny and needed emergency help, I will not allow phones in the workplace and they need to contact the store.”
I’m sorry, but what? Extremely shady woman

Very nice looking pharmacy with A beautiful Jewelry and Knick-Knack store in the rear of the store, I bought several items of Blue turquoise jewelry and other items, the pharmacist filled my dogs meds quickly. Fantastic pharmacy, very nice people working there. I will be going back very shortly.

I have been a customer for the past few years, and I have to say the entire team from Pharmacist to Support Staff are such caring people, who always go the extra mile to provide for their customers. Personally, I am just so thankful and appreciative of all that each of you do each month to ensure my prescriptions are filled when due regardless of the barriers you are up against. Called to ask if they had something I urgently needed. They were closing in 10 mins. They told me if I got there in 10mins it's not a problem. I got there in 6mins & they had locked all the doors early. I knocked, 3 people were in there...they came out looking smug. Rude. I would've paid cash... I needed a $2 item! If they were going to close early, they should've told me!

They were previously located near my doctor’s office but a far distance from my home. However, they filled all of my prescriptions promptly. Now I have to wait 2+ days to obtain a complete order. Last but not least they have never for the past 6 years been friendly to me. I want to change pharmacy to one located nearby to my home. I don't care to spend my money for mediocre service where I'm not welcomed. I noticed that they are courteous and friendly to some customers. But when I approach the counter they greet me with a what do you want attitude.

I was a long time customer of this pharmacy. I spent a ton of money on toys for my 6 year old son. I was treated so terribly last month by a female pharmacist who works there. She actually told me that I was not welcome to be a customer there anymore. I told the gentleman in the front that I wanted a phone call from the owner or manager well that never happened. I am so offended, I was a loyal customer and didn't mind paying extra for my over the counter items because I like to support local businesses. It's a shame that my loyalty was not appreciated by this establishment.

After treating them like they were crooks, did you really expect to get the red carpet treatment? This Pharmacy is the best ever! I work with a Hospice and requests for prescriptions are handled as if they were needed for their own family at Shore. We now have to add a few steps when ordering medications since the new STOP plan was put into place. A professional, being a Nurse or Medical staff needs to call a Physician, NP or PA, obtain an order (which may take awhile to reach the Medical Personnel or Primary Physician, given they are handling many other situations at that time). It is then submitted for the Practitioner to sign (again have many other tasks at hand). It is only then sent to

I was vacationing on Fire Island and in desperate need of antibiotics. My doctor was able to call in the prescription to Shore Drug and they delivered it to me on the next ferry. I was so stressed that my illness would affect my vacation and the staff were so kind and helpful it made all my worries vanish. My vacation wasn't worried after all, thanks to them!
