In 1952, Storer Transportation Service was founded on the need for transportation services for the newly developed Special Education programs being developed for children throughout Stanislaus County. Storer Coachways has a fleet of motorcoaches with capacities of 54, 45, 21 and 11 passengers. In 1952, Storer Transportation Service was founded because there was a need for transportation services for the newly developed Special Education programs being developed for children throughout Stanislaus County. Walter and Gladys Storer submitted a bid to transport 13 physically handicapped children from their residences to the Washington School site.

Our 8-bay, 20,000 sq ft Maintenance/Office facility is located approximately 15 minutes from downtown San Francisco and conveniently located for airport transfers (SFO & OAK).

The training that goes into EVERY driver is second to none, Safety is more important here than in many other Companies, Storer has received awards for it. CHP inspections come up with 0 problems. I know all of this because I am a driver here and I see the difference, in fact I only book them for my personal needs.

I've used Storer before for work transportation from the Bay Area to Sacramento and they've always been on time and easy to coordinate and work with. Because of the great experiences I had with them at work, I decided to use them again on my wedding day transporting my guests from the hotel, to the church, to the reception site, and back. They were again, on time, the bus was clean, and the driver was great and courteous. Driver Bob refused to let us on "his" bus. Asked why - his reasoning was because we had gotten on and then off another bus from his company (we had waited over 1/2 hour without leaving). Obviously he was offended about that and now passive aggressively refusing to give us a ride on his empty bus - despite knowing our young children were tired. Avoid this company at all costs unless you want rude, unprofessional, and unpredictable service. Judging by the way the drivers kept passengers waiting while they stand around talking and refusing to work, I wonder if the company cares about accountability

This is a review regarding your drivers. Management should remind your drivers that they not only operate the buses, but they also represent the company to the public and how they interact and speak to people matters. They should have some decency. I encountered one your drivers while visiting the look out at Twin Peaks. My family was parked in a spot and your driver had blocked us in.

If the answer is "a lot," then I suggest you find a different bus company.
After traveling all of the way to Tahoe, CA for a ski trip, our bus was prevented from making it up the mountain. Why? May you ask. Not because Storer Bus Company did everything in their power to get us up the mountain but they decided conditions were too dangerous for us. Instead, they didn't even provide the proper safety precautions for us to make it up the snowy mountain. The bus driver knew we needed 4 chains and yet, we only had TWO chains. This man decided to

I am extremely disappointed with the services provided by this "company". On a journey to the mountains of Lake Tahoe, our bus bottomed out pulling into a parking lot to put chains on after around 6 hours of driving. After waiting for about two more hours hours, a nice man came and pulled the bus out with his large truck. We then found out that the bus could not proceed further up the mountain, four snow chains were required and the bus company only sent the bus with two. As a result we had to go back, driving for 3-4 MORE hours.

I don't know where to begin with my dissatisfaction with Storer. Not only was Storer unprepared for the conditions of our route, but the service was utterly disgraceful. In addition to being unable to get us to our destination, our bus got stuck/bottomed out, and Storer did little to nothing to help us with the situation. We were stranded in the middle of the night in a small parking lot, and Storer was negligent in having us wait in that parking lot, under the rain, in the cold, until they could get another bus to pick us up, which wouldn't be for another 4 hours. This morning, one of their drivers stopped halfway through a busy intersection. There was nothing behind her bus to prevent her backing up about 10 feet to open a teeny bit of sidewalk and also not block the right hand lane of traffic. She told us three pedestrians that we should walk into vehicle traffic. Meanwhile, the traffic was having to merge and cut around her bus to get through the intersection.
That companies like this can hire and employee such inconsiderate and unsafe people blows my mind. When this driver kills someone (and she will) maybe that will make Storer commit to safety.

We contracted with Storer for wedding shuttle bus service for an out of town wedding. We received excellent customer service from the time of booking through the day of the wedding. Storer's attention to detail was evident from the two brand new buses that arrived to shuttle our guests, to one of the drivers doing a test run of our shuttle route to ensure accurate drop-off times. Bay area traffic is always unpredictable - so we were so happy to have Storer take care of our guests. Excellent company with outstanding customer service and spotless buses! They're the only ones we will use
