A native of Anderson Township, Ohio, I chose to go west after veterinary school to do an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the West Los Angeles Veterinary Medical Group. It was there I cared for pets owned by such celebrities as Joan Rivers, Sheena Easton, Greg Louganis, Ice-T, Joanna Cassidy, Robert Culp, Eva Gabor, Shelly Hack, Aaron Spelling (and his daughter, Tori) to name a few.

2nd recent visit for my dog was excellent. She got a thorough exam and all her shots. Dr Fouts answered all my questions and took the amount of time needed. The cost was moderate and a very good value for the services rendered. One thing I appreciate is that Hillside always tells me the correct opinion about an issue but they don't brow beat you like some offices until you feel guilty. Specifically I choose to give my dog a heart worm pill rather than the shot. They gave me the rationale and I made the decision. Thank you!

The wait time was minimal, the care exemplary, and fees reasonable. We would recommend Hillside, Dr. Hopper, and staff for pet care. Our anxious Molly was relaxed and calm at her visit. She acted more like she was visiting friends than at a medical appointment. Thank you for such loving care.

I’m not going to the vet frequently, but every time I go it’s the same great experience. Hillside Small Animal Hospital is always clean and the staff is always so welcoming. I know every single time my dog is getting the best possible care. I was referred to Hillside Small Animal Hospital and it has been an amazing experience ever since. Everyone here is very caring and professional. Office is always super clean and the staff is always friendly. They listen to any concerns and do whatever they can to resolve any issues Mac is having. I've always been able to get an appointment when needed and waiting is minimal.

Every time I go there I have a positive experience. The staff is very professional and they are very good with my dogs. My dogs hate to go to the vet so when we go, they are always very stressed and scared. The staff is so gentle with my dogs and they make them feel at ease. They pick my dogs up and hold them close so they aren’t as scared.

There really isn't an answer to that. We feel that the staff at Hillside are amazing and hand picked by the Lord to be in their careers. I never have to worry about how myself, my pets, or anyone in our family is treated because Hillside is a PART of family to us! From the front desk associates, to the vet assistants, vet techs, and all the way to the doctors themselves this is literally the best place to care for your pets.
