Martin Mills is a California licensed Civil Engineer. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University, and has a Certificate of Proficiency in Drafting Technology from Cabrillo College. After seven years working full time as an Associate Engineer, preparing civil and structural plans and calculations, he founded Mills Young Engineering.
Ethics is a cornerstone of civil engineering practice. The knowledge, skills, and attitudes required of an engineer in the 21st century exceed those demanded of 20th century engineers. Mills Young Engineering is committed to ongoing education, best practices, and attending symposiums to assure new technologies and standards are implemented in our projects.

Martin Mills is truly conscientious, and Jennifer Young is very responsive. Together, they made my project much easier than I had anticipated. I appreciated so much the bit of humor and good nature they both bring to the table. And when it came to the drawings, and the measurements, I can definitely say they are perfectly designed, appropriate, and demonstrate a lot of grey matter!
