The Hand Institute is the region's leader in outpatient rehabilitation services of the hand and upper extremity, caring for patients of all ages. Founded in 2010 by Shauna Fiorentino OTR/CHT, owner-operator is the areas only certified hand and upper extremity therapist (CHT). Shauna brings a wealth of dedication, experience, and training to her clinic.
The therapists of the practice have extensive training and are experienced in treating all injuries/problems affecting the cervical spine, shoulder, elbow, forearm, wrist and hand as well as specializing in customized splints and myofascial release. Our emphasis is "hands on treatment" rather than merely prescribing a set of exercises.

Services
Our Occupational Therapists assist individuals who are in need of increasing flexibility, decreasing pain or building strength. Additionally, we help patients who have undergone surgeries and who are in need of therapy to regain optimal physical functionality. Hand Therapy is the art and science of rehabilitation of the upper limb, which includes the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder girdle.
