I started my case for adjustment of status, first you meet with Teresa Marsal Avila for the free consultation, she tells you that she could help with the case. Now that you are confident enough with this law office, you go back for an appointment with one of the assistants to open and sing a contract ($500 non refundable deposit)(payments every week), they take all your info, and tell you they will call you. Before you think the government is inefficient, think again. I thought the government was slow to approve a simple form but that was not the problem. What was the problem is the form they were supposed to send was not postmarked for OVER two months after I payed them to send it.
Considering that I payed thousands they cant go a couple of blocks to the nearest mailbox and send it? Avoid if you need something done quick.
They always say they will call you back and then NEVER do. Also they always give you the run around when you try to see one of the lawyers. The clerk tells you they are busy and
