Our goal at CVC is to provide quality, affordable animal care for the Clarksville community and its surrounding areas. We do this through a dedicated staff with a commitment to your animals' needs and access to state-of-the-art technology. From nail clips and basic vaccines to orthopedic surgery and cardiac treatment, we treat your pet with the care and compassion they deserve.
Dr. Al Dahl has enjoyed practicing veterinary medicine since returning to his hometown in 1997 to establish Clarksville Veterinary Clinic. Following graduation from Bluestone High school, he completed undergraduate studies and earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1995, both from Virginia Tech.
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. I was visiting my mom in Clarksville and our dog had an emergency. First off, in the past we have been to see Dr. Dahl a few times, mostly with my moms dog, and although the girls who answer the phone have never been friendly and act like it’s a pain to even talk to you, let alone give you an appointment. Dr Dahl himself has always been great. If you can get to him. This time, we needed to euthanize our dog (we live 200 miles away) and they wouldn’t even let us come in because it had been 4 years since our dog had been there. I tried to explain we’re here on vacation, if he took a look at
