Rubino Family Chiropractic, located in Orange, CT, is a modern facility where we offer specific scientific chiropractic adjustments. Our goal with this care is to reduce and remove interference from your nervous system, known as subluxations. Your body has an "innate" ability to be healthy, so long as the controlling mechanism, the nervous system, is free from interference.
Dr. Rob is a passionate, whole-hearted, and enthusiastic, second-generation chiropractor who brings his positive energy into everything he does, especially his office. He graduated Cum Laude from Central Connecticut State University with his Bachelors in Science as well as Cum Laude from Life University with his Doctorate in Chiropractic.
In simplest terms, a subluxation a.k.a. Vertebral Subluxation) is when one or more of the bones of your spine (vertebrae) move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves.
This is a representation of one type of subluxation. A subluxation, as defined by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges is: "A subluxation is a complex of functional and/or structural and/or pathological articular changes that compromise neural integrity and may influence organ system function and general health."

I began my visits one month ago and because I was determined and consistent with my visits, and my Doctor is so skilled and knowledgeable, I am feeling almost 100% better. I am moving from a correction into a recovery phase and my quality of life has drastically improved. My husband and I had success with chiropractors throughout the years for minor aches, pains, and even pregnancy relief. However, we did not realize the benefits of chiropractor care for children. Since being under Dr. Rob's care we have noticed our boys focusing more during the day, being more outgoing in social situations, and overall feeling more confident in themselves. I would highly recommend bringing the whole family to this wonderful practice.

After treating with other Chiropractors, and not getting relief I decided to try RFC to my surprise not only are the staff kind and helpful, Dr Rob is thoughtful and explained all of my therapy needs. Dr. Rob is the best! I have lifelong posture issues and regular back pain due to a herniated disc. It is with deep regret that I have to write this review. We are moving out of state and will no longer be able to enjoy the services Dr. Rob and Mallory (and Callie) provide. I absolutely love everything about Rubino Family Chiropractic!

I was a doubter. In fact, I was convinced that chiropractic medicine was complete quackery and told Dr. Rob as much. Late last year, I began to have numbness in my hand & arm & knew that if I went to an orthopedist, I'd be headed into surgery. Wishing to avoid that if possible, I went to see Dr. Rob under the premise that I'd see what he could do for me & I'd move on if it wasn't working. 6 weeks later & my numbness is gone. I am no longer a doubter and am in fact, a convert and have told Dr. Rob as much. So much so, that I am having him treat my teenage daughters as well. I cannot say enough good

Mallory is the warm face your greeted with walking through the door. She is very welcoming and knowledgeable. Carley the office mascot, is my own fur Therapist you almost instantly forget your pain and stress when you see her tail wagging. Dr Rob is very informative, helpful and friendly. Rob took his time to explain the work he was doing on my back and neck and planed appointments accordingly for my busy life. Rob is the best Chiropractor I have ever been to. Very caring, thorough, and specific to individual needs. No wait time. Truly the best part about this
