Dr. Andrew has been a member of the Herwig DDS family since before he could walk. His father, Robert V. Herwig, DDS, was the practice's previous owner for more than 30 years.

Very professional, latest technology in equipment & staff knowledge of same. You are always greeted with a smile at their tastefully decorated office. .Masks are encouraged 😷 but work to accommodate all patients. Dental health is always “front & center” in Dr. Andrew’s office. My husband & I have been patients for a very long time before Dr. Andrew’s dad retired from the practice. We really like Herwig DDS because they have great people who are friendly and professional and always perform each procedure with a thorough and gentle approach. I no longer dread going to the dentist! Love Herwig Dentistry and the care I have received every time I go! Everyone is happy, friendly and thorough. Dr. Andrew is very knowledgeable and patient while explaining and executing procedures. Emma (Mrs.Herwig) is the best, most gentle hygienist ever and a delight! Highly recommend for any age patient- my grandson 4 1/2 loves 😁 the Herwigs also!

When I moved to KC finding a dentist seemed very overwhelming, and being fully transparent I put it off for as long as possible! I was recommended to try Herwig DDS by my best friend, and I wish I would have gone sooner. They are incredibly friendly, positive, and welcoming. I felt very at home, and am looking forward to my next 6 month appointment!
Another thing to mention is that they are very careful during these pandemic times. You will really appreciate the practices they have put in place, and feel very comfortable taking care of your oral hygiene while we navigate COVID-19.

My family of 5 loves everyone on Dr. Andrew's team, they are like extended family to us. They always greet us with a warm smile and care about each of us personally. The Dental Hygienists are always very friendly, gentile, and thorough. And over the years, I have found Dr. Andrew to be an excellent dentist for my whole family. Highly recommend this dental practice. From the moment you enter the office it's a great experience being greeted by Susan and seen by Dr. Herwig and staff. We had many years of fear of the dentist and I didn't want to pass that along to my children. All of us see Dr. Herwig and I highly recommend him. Our Hygienist, Angie, is our favorite to see, other than Dr. Herwig, but I highly recommend the entire staff. You and your family will receive the best of care. Other family members also see Dr. Herwig and all agree it's a great dental practice.

When you arrive at Dr. Herwig’ s office, Susan greats you with a warm welcome. The office is lovely and comfortable. Angie and Emma, my Dental Hygienists, are so pleasant and explain everything they’re doing and are excellent with instructions. Dr. Herwig is so nice and knowledgeable. I’ve never experienced any pain and he and his staff make going to the Dentist a pleasant experience. I highly recommend Dr.Herwig and his team. They’re exceptional at what they do!

Dr. Andrew Herwig and his team are outstanding! They are welcoming, kind, gentle, knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable. I chose Dr. Herwig to complete my bi-annual cleanings because of the location. His office is easily accessible from I-35 and my job. It was a lucky choice. Dr. Herwig and his team were extremely kind and reminded me of my (small) hometown where friendliness isn't rushed or forced. On top of that, they were incredibly thorough and the excellent coffee (!!) and magazine choices in the waiting room didn't hurt either. In summary, I'm glad a found a quality small business in a large city that, at times, focuses on quantity.
