We had their food truck cater our wedding reception (at the beginning of October 2021). We had tried their food on a whim after reading some FaceBook reviews, during our search for what to serve at our reception. Needless to say, we were hooked after the first bite. We also had them several times prior to the reception when located in their food kitchen over the winter 2020. Their concept is straightforward and a lot of options to customize your meal. Stopped by this food truck today while it was at DHL in Westerville. Guys are super friendly. Ordered the Mikey Likes It. It is a garlic and chive bowl, Mac n cheese base, slow cooked shredded beef, suppose to have coleslaw but it was missing, bacon, corn, pepper jack cheese. Chipotle mayo and BBQ sauce. The bowl had no real texture once ingredients were loaded in it. The Mac n cheese was nice and smooth but no real cheese taste to me. Shredded beef was plentiful but a little dry. Nice bed of corn on top. The chipotle mayo was the star, nice and smooth, very tasty. Sweet Baby Rays sauce on top

Stopped by the truck last night for dinner. I got the waffle bowl and my wife got the open faced sub. I really enjoyed the waffle bowl.... filled with creamy mashed potatoes, pulled pork, corn, caramelized onion, cheese, and topped with gravy. The waffle really complimented the meal. It was also filled to the brim, which I appreciated. Filled me up and was very happy. Will definitely order again!

The folks at Redwood Wagon are true masters of customer service and satisfaction. They recently catered my wedding, and they went above and beyond to ensure everything from arrival, setup, service, and cleanup went off without a hitch.
Not only are they the Best Food Truck in town, they've got the best food, the best people, and the best service. I highly recommend them for any event, and I also recommend the waffle bowl. Yum.

I have heard about Redwood Wagon through some friends, so I was very excited when the were located close to my work. I ordered a bowl, with mashed potatoes, corn, chicken, jalapenos, bacon, cheddar cheese, and pepper jack cheese, all topped with zesty ranch. I am seriously in heaven. The mashed potatoes were buttery and awesome, the chicken was seasoned so well and complimented everything else I added. The zesty ranch, I could drink it, it is really that good. It is no wonder they won Best Food Truck at Westerville's Music & Arts Festival 2019. You will not be disappointed in this

It was a cold and rainy day. I wanted some good comfort food for lunch, but didn't know where to go. Fortunately, the Redwood Wagon food truck was near my workplace so I decided to try it: An Americanized version of Chipolte featuring home cooked comfort foods.
I had a waffle bowl with mashed potatoes, shredded beef, caramelized onions, corn, and beef gravy. Mmm!
The waffle bowl was delicious! It is savory and loaded with chives so it really compliments the food dish. There was a good amount of meat and the toppings were all tasty.

This truck can't get back to my building fast enough. Redwood Wagon is a unique spin on the "build your own" style that is all over Columbus. The process is simple:
Pick a carry: garlic and chive waffle bowl, regular cup, or sub sandwich
Add a base: mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, or lettuce
Pick your main (or pick two): pulled pork, shredded beef, pulled chicken, roasted veggies
Select all the toppings you want: caramelized onions, jalapeno, bacon, coleslaw, corn, pepper jack, or cheddar cheese

I think that this truck has potential - but I did not have a great experience. I ordered a salad, and the lettuce was mostly brown and soggy. I am not sure about the other meats, but the chicken was unseasoned and a little mushy. There aren't too many options for toppings, and the serving sizes of toppings were a little sparse. That being said, the truck's specialty seems to be mashed potato and Mac and cheese bowls... so maybe these issues are limited to the salads.

If you encounter a lineup of food trucks at an event, walk on by and try The Redwood Wagon. A little different, reasonably priced, and great flavors.
