I am taking the time to write this in here this time because I just went to the office for my son’s appointment and guess what in the conversation with one of the Ladies we talked about the COVID thing and I told her that we where in quarantine before and that my son had an appointment for the test every week she assumed that we had COVID and she went and told the doctor and the doctor refused to give us service I told him that we just got are test and it was negative and he didn’t care he said you can’t be here your in quarantine, he didn’t want to finish the exam and i am mad because

Always look forward to my yearly check with Dr Buchanan and his staff. Office atmosphere from the moment I walked in was friendly and helpful. Equipment they use is fast, detailed, accurate. Dr Buchanan reviews the tests, does a check using familiar equipment most of us know. Explains in easy to understand language. In a tone that relaxes you. Recommend his office to everyone. Same great service as last year, same review. Enjoy going in.

I had to have an eye checked to make sure things weren't leading to a retinal tear. I also went ahead & also had them do a regular exam as I was overdue. This was one of the best eye exams, if not THE best (you generally only remember the bad) I have ever EVER had! Dr. Buchanan was extremely helpful, explaining everything & making sure I understood. The exam was not rushed & I felt that his geuini cared. No question was a bad question! I highly HIGHLY recommend 1 hour eye doctors!!

The staff was wonderful. The process was smooth with continuity of care. Didn’t have to talk with a new staff member, over and over.
Dr Buchanan was excellent. Wonderful manner. Easy to understand.
No hard sell. I knew I needed a new prescription ( one of the main reasons I went). Couldn’t afford them today. But I will go back in a few weeks.

Dr Buck is an intelligent and caring person who took time to explain the various tests and results to me. His equipment is all state-of-the-art, and the staff is well trained and friendly. They really did build a great pair of prescription glasses for me in a little over an hour.
FOLLOW UP: While I maintain the above is all true, they didn't honor warranty work and the invoices they sent were shockingly high. About $800 for an exam and a pair of glasses. I switched to an ophthalmologist (MD) for service as good or better with lower prices.

My mom had a blood vessel burst in her eye. Although she could see fine and she was in no pain it looked absolutely horrendous! You guys were able to get my mom right in that same afternoon. You guys are always so professional and so courteous! My mother has Alzheimer's and you're so very helpful! Her eyes looking much better and healing and I want to thank you for all that you guys do!

I went here for an annual eye exam. I was told that they took my insurance over the phone and went in and did the exam. When I finished the exam they told me it would cause $142 and that they didn't take my insurance. I told them the issue and they refused to even discount the bill. Please note that I was only going in because my insurance covers an eye exam annually. Be aware of their billing practices if you go here.

I have been to this business and I will Never go back again. First time I went ended up spending almost a thousand dollars on two pair of worthless eye wear. Second time had another eye appt and it was wrong. Glasses scratched within 3 month's had to pay more money Knowing that I bought the extra plan that I did not get credit for. The next time was the last time for us. Their glasses & frames stink and they have so many people working in that office that they trip over each other. I used a credit card and the person did not even know that the computer did not take the card so she

I went in for an eye exam and ordered glasses. The glasses were very blurry so they had me see the doctor again to check prescription. They stated the in house made glasses would need to be remade in an off site lab as the Dr. said the prescription was fine. They tried to charge me for BOTH Dr. visits and then when I ordered tinting for $60 extra it was not on the glasses after a long wait. They were not real clear that my insurance would not cover cost and lead me to believe that because I have medical eye problems it would be covered. The total experience cost me $1,000 out of my pocket !

If you want great customer service then 1 Hour EyeDocs is the place for you! We live in Oregon but my teenage son was visiting Montrose just for a day and needed vision services. It was a Friday and the issue couldn't wait until Monday. I used Yelp to find all of the optometrists in Montrose but many were either closed, closing early or unwilling to help. Then I spoke to Pat at 1 Hour EyeDocs. They are open until 5PM on Fridays (Yay!) and she was very helpful! She understood the situation right away and worked with the doctor to help my son the same day. My family and I really appreciate

Both my wife and my mother have gone here and had very poor experiences. My wife had injured her eye, and when we initially went to Joanna we had a great experience, but the follow up visit with Dr. B was at good at all. He was very aggressive when removing my wife's contact lens and was very short and uninformative.
My mom went in to get new glasses, and with Joanna got a very well adjusted prescription, and Joanna even caught a serious issue that no one had noticed before. However rather than bill my mother the $95 deal for the prescription, they said they'd try to run it through

Was very happy with the exam and the Dr Buchanan. Was completely dissatisfied with the service afterwards. When I went in to pick up my glasses there was no consultation to make sure they fit properly or if I was comfortable with the glasses. They just put them on the counter and said you're good to go. Am not happy about spending my money on something I can't use. I can not even see out of my lenses. Am taking my prescription to another business that will help me.

A surprisingly enjoyable visit for something I was not looking forward to! Dr. Buck put me right at ease, answered every question and gave loads of interesting information with his great sense of humor. Adriana was wonderful as well and the facility is as nice as the staff. I will definitely be recommending their services on the future :)
