Founded in 1959, Elite Leather Company has grown dramatically to become one of America's largest leather furniture manufacturers. Today we sell to all types of retailers, from major department stores to exclusive specialty stores. Yet we remain a family-run business, pleasing customers for more than 50 years.
After serving in World War II, the founder of the company returned to California to launch Elite Leather Company. Today his son has become the president of the company, and the third generation of the family carries on the tradition. We also enjoy a long history with many of our employees - our talented artisans have been with us for 15 years on average.

At Elite Leather Company, we specialize in handcrafted, "bench-made" fine leather furniture. Using only top grain Aniline-dyed leather and responsibly forested woods, we custom make every sofa, sectional, sleeper and chair to the highest of standards. Our leather sofas and chairs are not only built to impress, they're built to last.
You're searching for just the right furniture to bring out the best in your living room, family room or den. You'll find it at Elite Leather, because we make it to your order. Start by choosing your ideal style from our fine furniture collection of more than 80 styles. Then, select the type of leather you like, from buttery soft anilines to richly burnished hand-rubs - we offer more than 25 leathers.
Why limit yourself? Take a look at our entire sofa collection and let yourself fall in love with something unexpected. There's a warmth about traditional style that makes a house into a home. Our traditional sofas evoke a time-honored, classic feel that makes any room more inviting. Transitional sofas offer a clean, versatile look that blends impeccably with almost any decorating motif.
Flip through a few glossy home magazines, and you just might come upon an article about Elite Leather furniture. We've also been covered in newspapers, trade publications and the fashion press, too. While we've been focused on keeping our styles current, many editors have been focused on us. In a good way, of course.
We custom-build your furniture in four weeks or less-without cutting corners. We've earned a reputation for quality and would never jeopardize that. After more than 50 years, we've learned how to meet this strict deadline thanks to skillful planning, extensive inventory of both leather and fabric, and the talents of our skilled craftspeople.

My husband and I bought a leather sectional ( I believe style Century City) and storage ottoman from Elite less in 2012. We received the furniture in April 2012. At the time I couldn't fine online reviews for Elite so I went under the assumption you get what you pay for. We are not happy at all with how this furniture is performing. The cushions are uneven and sag. The corner cushions sit lower than the others. The top cushions are all misshapen. This all began within the first year and continues to worsen. After about 18 months I contacted Elite and they said to work thru the dealer

I purchased a pair of 'Echo Park' matching love seats. Leather with down filled cushions. We have had them for nearly 2 years and every day one of us comments how very comfortable they are. I am COMPLETELY happy with my purchase. We feel the price was reasonable for the great quality. We also have 3 dogs. One over 85lbs. They live on these love seats and the leather still looks like new.

Unfortunately, there is no way I could ever recommend this company. I purchased a leather sectional which cost over $12k at Bloomingdales (but I ordered through NC furniture and paid $4k) and in less than a year one of the back pillows that is attached to the back of the couch ripped. We literally sat on this couch less than a dozen times (it's in our living room - not our frequently used den). I contacted them multiple times and when I finally got them to respond, they said based on the picture they thought it was from wear and tear. I asked for help in finding a repair shop and they

This is interesting..
We have a complete front room of these couches/love seats and storage unit. Over the years I have called /emailed about the problems we have had with these couches without a complete remedy.
Just called customer service this time to find that the original person I emailed/spoke to in the past, is not the person that I reported my dissatisfaction to this time. -no record of our past complaints. :/ - to me this means that issues with our couches do not carry as much validity.
Before, I could not even speak to a person.. Just sent an email to Elite.com, then got a call from
