Even after all these years, I am so grateful for Park Avenue Pharmacy. It's right by my house and they always provide top notch service. Over the years, I've come to know the technicians here, and I enjoy chatting with them as I wait for my prescriptions. They are always very honest, and will try to accomodate the patient as best as possible. For example, if they are out of a medicine, they will order it, and it will usually come in a day.

I'll be honest, I went to this place b/c my daughter's doctor said I should go here rather than Walgreens. I didn't want to go, b/c most of these small pharmacies do not take the FSA card, and I had a miscommunication the first time with the girl at the counter. However, not only do they ACCEPT the FSA card, but they are VERY nice. They even opened up their doors one day for me b/c I had arrived 10 minutes after they closed. No complaints at all.

I'm reiterate what most of the other yelpers stated.. This is like a throwback pharmacy where the owners actually know your name and give you that personalized service- which is completely lost at CVS and Walgreens. Jeff is a great guy and genuinely wants to help and provide advice for your meds.. Not sure what the one bad reviewer was pissed about but I highly doubt- based on my experiences with them- that he is telling the whole story..

I was actually thinking about changing pharmacies until today. I see everyone rated this pharmacy with 5 stars but they wasted 45 minutes of my time today by verifying with my doctor my refill count alleging that I fraudulently changed the refill amount. that's crazy! I understand my script was a controlled substance but 1, it should have been confirm upon my initial visit on 2/15. 2, Dr's will write "No Refills" if there are no refills. What makes this even crazier is the pharmacist claims to have called my Dr and was told there were no refills. Haaaa I asked him to look at

I am very happy that his family owned pharmacy has opened in Weehawken! The staff here are kind and courteous as well as extremely helpful when it comes to YOUR needs. I highly recommend this fabulous pharmacy. I used to frequent the Walgreens or Pathmark (now ACME) pharmacy for pharmaceutical services but the service at Park Avenue Pharmacy is far better than what you would get anywhere else. I always enjoy speaking with Jeff and the rest of the staff there every time I come here as they always tend to share their smiles! Thanks so much Park Avenue Pharmacy! Probably the best local pharmacy in Hudson County because it's not a 'big box' pharmacy... The personal attention is outstanding. Once your prescriptions are with them, the medication is always available. All insurance accepted and the best yet???? Free delivery. I didn't think these places existed anymore, I was so wrong.
