I have been to countless law enforcement trainings across Pennsylvania and Jeff is not only a black belt in BJJ but is also a black belt in his excellent communication skills.

I reluctantly attended a seminar at Gracie NEPA after being badgered by police officer husband to learn some self defense. There I found a welcoming and inspiring group of training partners who became friends, as well as a super effective means of self defense that doubles as a great work-out. Jiu jitsu and the Gracie NEPA community have been truly life changing🥋💪🏼

Both my husband and son attend Gracie NEPA and their experiences, while different... are equally amazing. My kiddo has gained so much confidence and discipline from joining 3 years ago. This is a kid that hated t-ball, hated basketball, hates sports really. Jujitsu, he’s self motivated and ready to go and I’m happy he’s learning how to control his little mind and grow into a responsible adult that can take care of himself. My husband enjoys fighting for fun, I guess, I don’t know. But really.... the same benefits apply to him. 8 - 10 hour work day, he relies on jujitsu to relieve some stress

Jeff is an absolutely amazing teacher that has a very systematic and accessible curriculum. The culture and people at the gym are amazing as well. Five stars is not enough. I am a visiting Brown Belt from south Mississippi. Gracie NEPA has a facility that is clean, has a very welcoming group, and has a solid Jiu-Jitsu program for all levels. This is now my place to train while visiting family here on vacation. I attended both regular classes and open mat. Instruction in regular class was detailed and checked all the boxes for a quality program. Open mat was fun and the head Black Belt Jeff was there is give insights and pointers to students to improve their next round. Thank you Gracie NEPA!

I have been training with Jeff for 8 years and can say that he is a great instructor and friend. The whole group at Gracie NEPA is like family. I have traveled all over the U.S. to train and Jeff is one of the top instructors hands down. He has a great ability to break techniques and strategy down so that everyone can understand and execute. I've been training at Gracie NEPA for a little over a year. The attention to detail and personalized approach taken by Jeff Reese and his coaching staff was exactly what I was looking for in an academy. You're treated like family at Gracie NEPA. My 7yr old daughter also began training 5 months ago and having her say "I'm so excited for class tomorrow!!" is a testament to Jeff and his ability to teach a complex martial art, while still making it fun.

I initially started training for something to do in the cycling off-season. Little did I know how big of an impact this would have on me. Jeff runs a very family friendly, ego free and clean facility. He breaks things down in an easy to understand way and is always right there to help you if you're having a hard time.

I met a few of the guys from Gracie NEPA at a seminar and had the opportunity to train with them when I visited my in laws in NEPA the following weekend. The students and instructors were welcoming, knowledgeable, competitive and great training partners. Jeff's knowledge and understanding of Jiu Jitsu technique is amazing and I was very impressed with his style of rolling. I would recommend Gracie NEPA to anyone looking to train, get a work out, or learn something new.
