Jim grew up in Bridgewater, NJ. He attended St. Peter's High School before receiving his Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Mortuary Science Degrees. He is a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Bound Brook where he serves as a Eucharistic Minister and is on the Finance Committee. He is a member of the Ocean Conservancy Board, the Holy Name Society, the Somerville Elks, Knights of Columbus Council 5959 in Martinsville and member of the N.J.
Take the Garden State Parkway north to exit 127. Follow signs to Rte 287 north. Stay on Rte 287 north to exit 13 B. At the end of exit Ramp you will bear right putting you on Rte 28 west. Proceed to the 3rd traffic light. Turn left onto Finderne Avenue ( TD Bank is at this intersection). Proceed to the next light and turn left onto East Main Street.

From one funeral employee to another. PAY. ATTENTION. TO. THE. HANDS.
I should not have seen my loved ones hands not fully crossed, with one tilted upward showing severely dehydrated palms. The hands are nearly as important as the face, if your embalmer is not aware of that, please make them aware so no one else has to leave a viewing with an awful memory picture.

Giving a five star is not just enough to express my family’s appreciations for the super quality of job James and Brian provided to my father’s funeral care. Both James and Brian are very professional, kind and caring. They tried the best to satisfied my family’s special requests. I believed my father also appreciated in heaven for good cares from James and Brian.
I would strongly recommend to use Bridgewater Funeral Home when you need such a service, at least, it is worth to talk to James before you make a decision.

I felt Jimmy and his staff at Bridgewater funeral home deserve a few minutes of my time to let others know about their home.
I want to start off by saying " JImmy" the owner is like no other. The man has a soul and he get's life!
He has laid my mother to rest along with my wife's family and many close friends. Every time he has consistently been fair with family as far as cost during their time of grief. The quality and care of preparing our family and friends has been above all others in the area I have seen.

Jim and Brian went above and beyond and made us feel so comfortable and safe with our loved one in their care. As a florist I have had many occasions to work and meet funeral directors in the area. I have found the people at the Bridgewater funeral home to most accommodating and extremely pleasant. It is not always the case with some funeral homes. I always feel welcome whenever I deliver the flowers for someone who has passed. The home is beautiful, spacious, warm and friendly. They did a great job for both my grandmothers! They work with you to honor all your wishes and really take a lot of stress off your family during such a difficult time. They made me feel like family, not just another customer. I would highly recommend them during the unfortunate time when a family member passes.
