Double the beauty! Double Amaryllis are a distinctive variation on the large flowering version. The flower size and stalk height are the same as the large flowering Amaryllis, except that a "double" flower is produced. In essence, what you have is a flower within a flower. Large 26-28 cm bulbs, produce 4-6 flowers per bulb, grow to an average of 20 inches in height.
Seasoned gardeners and beginners alike will love our care-free waxed amaryllis bulbs that do not need to be planted or watered! Each of these robust bulbs are carefully prepared in red or white wax with a coil stand allowing you the freedom to place them among your holiday decorations. Simply keep the bulbs at an ambient room temperature of at least 70 degrees for beautiful blooms in four to six weeks.
If you are looking for the largest amaryllis bulbs available, look no further! We have sourced a limited supply of the finest and largest bulbs Holland has to offer. These beauties measure 36 - 38 cm in circumference and will provide 2-3 stalks with at least 4 flowers on each stalk. These bulbs are easy to grow indoors- just make sure they are warm with bottom heat and enjoy their beauty this winter.

The amaryllis originated in South America's tropical regions and has the botanical name Hippeastrum. The large flowers and ease with which they can be brought to bloom make amaryllis popular and in demand worldwide.
