A native of Gainesville, Dr. Michael Clarkson has always called North Georgia home. He has accomplished a few interesting things in his life, one was becoming a varsity letterman in swimming at North Carolina State University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in biology.
He also hiked the Appalachian Trail from Dahlonega, GA to Hanover, NH before he enrolled at the Medical College of Georgia, where he received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry.Since graduating, Dr. Michael Clarkson has been providing patients of all ages with exceptional comprehensive dental care.

Best Dentist I have ever experienced! I used the same Dentist in Brunswick, Ga from 1990 to 2014. When I moved to Clarkesville in 2014 I was concerned about finding a new Dentist because my Dentist was awesome. Since 2014 I have been incredibly impressed with the entire staff. I have had a lot of work done over the years and Dr. Michael Clarkson is the absolute best. I have never had to return to have anything redone. He is a perfectionist and he want hurt you. The entire staff is very professional and go out of their way to accommodate!

The entire staff at Clarkson Family Dentistry is amazing! They are super friendly and a joy to conversate with. I have never felt so relaxed at a dentist office. They have educated me about oral hygiene and my overall oral hygiene is a lot better because of how helpful they are with my specific concerns and issues.

I love this place! Everyone is always so friendly here! The assistant, Christina, was super sweet and informative. Dr. Clarkson is really nice as well. I was in some pain after my last wisdom tooth extraction and the staff followed up with me often to make sure I was recovering well. I would highly recommend them!!

The entire staff at Clarkson family dentistry is amazing! They always make me feel comfortable and are very personable. The clinicians and doctor are very thorough and professional and are always informing me of what they are doing and why.
