I love this place it has amazing food, I am a very picky eater yet there food not only accommodated my picky diet, but also had many options for anyone. I also can’t tell you how much I love the staff they were beyond wonderful. Also a great place to meet up with your family, great desserts as well.

It was so greasy and the food just tasted like nothing. If you like bar food that tastes like you could make it in college, this is the place to be. I don't mind people who smoke but with the smoking area being right next to the door you get the sour smell of the smokers area even though we weren't in the smokers area. But hey, it's a bar so if that's what you're going for, go for it.

This was my 2nd visit. Loved the fried mushrooms in a tempura batter. Well....... The 2nd visit the mushrooms were battered in more if a flat bland flour. Very disappointed as I love fried mushrooms and not many places do them anymore. The bartender explained that they were cooked perfect and that the last time they must have been done wrong. Chicken pasta was a bit greasy but edible. For the price seems like I was missing half of my chicken breast. Ribeye sandwich $17 bucks. It's shaved so you're only getting about 4oz of meat. Doesn't compare to the prime rib sandwich at J Alexanders

Really good service, great draft beer selection. We shared a small appetizer of Southwest eggrolls that were yummy. A different dipping sauce would have elevated it. We both had a grilled hamburger, mine with usual toppings and husband added swiss cheese and bacon. He had fries which are so good and I had onion rings, prepared on site, also good but I favor the french fries. We each had the phenomenal Meddlesome Brewing Company Broad Hammer, a brown ale.

I am new to the area, so I thought I would give this place a try. We arrived at 12:15, on Sunday, September 4, 2021. We walked in, and were seated, there was no line or wait time at all. 15 minutes later I flagged someone down and asked if they could send our server, and they said they would send someone to our table. 15 minutes later we got up and left. A server NEVER came to our table. A couple that came in after us, were seated beside us, and instantly their order was taken. We were NEVER acknowledged after we walked in. I am not sure I will ever give this place a try again especially with service

I was only in town for the day and stopped in at this restaurant to grab a bite of lunch. I arrive around 11:50 am. They had several customers but no wait time. Myself and a friend was seated in the main room near a window. Several waitresses passed our table, not one acknowledged our presence. Another couple arrived about 10/15 minutes after us, they were immediately served with drinks and order taken and we still were not acknowledged. My friend stopped a worker and ask if we could be served. After approximately 30 minutes we just gave up and walked out. Not a way to get more customers, definitely

Nice place! Ordered takeout for six today and it was quite good. I had some great fried chicken and mashed potatoes, the wife had a Reuben and fries, others had salads etc. and it was very good. Also had some bread pudding that was a little dry and nondescript, but you must remember, I'm used to New Orleans. Had curb side pickup due to COVID concerns and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Recommended!

Loved Forest Hill Grill (where Belmont Grill used to be at Forest Hill-Irene and Poplar Pike).
Although Menu is a bit on the pricey side, it is well worth it! First of all The Burger was Great! Thick and Juicy cooked well with only a barely perceptible red in the middle (hence the juiciness). Served on a Brioche Bun with a side of Fries that are truly indescribable (we asked ... the server said they didn't have a name for them ) ... thick potato wedges with a curl and an ever-so-light crunch coating. They really Should have a Name for them!

We've been a couple of times and each time the food and service has been fabulous. We've had the Sausage & Cheese plate each time for an app, The Prime Rib Dip, The Grilled Burger with cheese and bacon with a side of onion rings, Fried Mahi Tacos, and the Seared Tuna Salad. All were fabulous. Also, they carry a wide selection of local craft beers which are my favorite!! We will definitely be back!!

Great location and excellent service. Limited menu, maybe do to COVID. Ribeye Steak was a poor thin cut of meat that didn't appear to be as many ounces as stated and overpriced at $32. Local small draft beer $7 Hamburger $8 was real good. Sides were good but only 3 fat onion rings? Disappointed as hoped it would become a favorite.

One of the best burgers in Memphis!!!! I was also glad to see that in this era of Covid-19 the great folks at FHG have added picnic tables so you can safely enjoy your meal outside if you'd prefer. My GF had the grilled chipotle salmon and in her words it was PERFECT!!!
We will definitely be back!!!!

Update: Stopped in again for a business lunc
Very interesting menu with an obvious knowledge of flavor blending. The problem is the food isn't cooked very well to match the expectation. Either over cooked or cold is the adjective for almost every item at our table of 5. Then the price is about 20% too high for the quantity and quality.
Still a decent choice over all-fried and/or fast chain food, but a few tweaks would double my business.

Nice atmosphere. Our waiter Matthew was great. He was having to run in circles because they didn’t have enough help. The food was just okay, but nothing to call home about. The mash potatoes and corn was awful. The chicken fried chicken was okay it taste like it came out of the box but it still had some flavor. The French fries were really good. My hubby said his shrimp poboy was just okay.
