Services
Changing Tides is a North Carolina drug and alcohol addiction treatment facility for those struggling with alcohol and/or drug addiction who are open to a life of recovery. We offer a unique setting, a Sober Living Environment WITH adjunct therapeutic components ALL ON ONE SITE.

Our substance abuse treatment facility provides a "real world environment" experience that is conducive to recovery from addiction, while receiving services needed to thrive in recovery. Our program provides clients the structure with the freedom to begin or continue their recovery in a healthy way with accountability and therapy.
If you have coverage of any kind from a major insurance provider, your treatment is likely covered. We promise to keep your information confidential. Changing Tides in North Carolina offers multiple addiction recovery programs for those who suffer from drug abuse and alcoholism. We offer a tier of substance abuse services which we feel benefits clients' physical and mental health as they can work their way through each of our therapies.
Partial hospitalization program or PHP program is a type of addiction therapy program for those who require more care than standard outpatient treatment or even intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are able to provide. If you or someone you love is suffering from substance use disorder contact us today at 252-715-3905 or visit our admissions page to learn more about getting started.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment is also known as IOP. Our alcohol and drug rehab programs offer an Intensive Outpatient Program that is a structured and comprehensive program that supports our clients in their sobriety and recovery.

Instead of attending a Sober Living after PHP treatment, we have an option that is available for clients as a step down from PHP. Typically sober living programs lack clinical support, but at Changing Tides we provide the continued support that is vital to our client's recovery. If you or someone you love is struggling with addiction contact us today at 252-715-3905 or visit our admissions page to learn more about getting started.
When you've completed a substance abuse rehab program, an effective transition to sober living in North Carolina helps ensure your long-term success. As part of a tiered program of services, sober living programs give you another level of support instead of pushing you into real-world situations as soon as you've completed your initial drug or alcohol rehabilitation efforts.

Being an addict for 15 plus years, I had lost all hope that I could live a normal life. Changing Tides brought ME back. They are with you in every step of the recovery process treating you with care, respect, and dignity. I can't say enough good things about them. This place works. They have the recipe for recovery success. It was working so well for me that when I completed my 28 day program my husband and I switched places and he started his journey with them. Now we are clean and sober and have such an awesome life together. We have three kids who are healing right along with us and we all couldn

Changing Tides was the second rehab I have attended the first being in 1988 out of high school. Changing Tides was God sent and I couldn’t asked for a better place to fit my situation. The counselors and owner inspired me to grab a hold of recovery and I continue to seek out connections and I am enjoying my new life.
One of the biggest benefits for me was the small group of ten people we had at the time. If you are seeking help please reach out to Aubrey and Changing Tides. They will help you get clean and sober and provide direction if you have a desire to change.

Changing Tides is an incredible facility. When I was frantically searching for a place to go, I had no idea just how lucky I would be to "pick" this place. The staff is amazing; the facilities are as well. CT truly changed my life, and will continue to do so. If you are struggling, there is a solution.

If you are an alcoholic or addict in active addiction and READY to start a new way of life, then Changing Tides is where I would suggest you go to get the tools and support you need for recovery. I was in active addiction for over 25 years, and had finally become willing to give up the fight and join a new healthier way of life in July of 2020. After several failed recovery attempts trying multiple inpatient and outpatient treatment program(s), Changing Tides was my last chance to recover. I am proud to say I now 7 months sober, happy, and I can't thank the staff there enough for their help. You
