Hiring Shepard Law in 2019 was one of the worst mistakes I have ever made. Rusty Shepard & Jean ( his assistant) can't seem to muster up the word Attorneys!! My son is still sitting in Bay County Jail 30 months later. With the corruption, lies and misconduct from this county. Shepard Law Firm decided it would be easier to just withdraw instead of fighting for my son. Please as hard as it is when it comes time to hire an Attorney, take your time to really find a good Attorney. Unfortunately our money was taken but thank God we knew what was happening (my son was being fed straight to the State Attorney

When I was first put to court it seemed hopeless that my case would be good. There didn't seem like any chance at all for me. I am so upset with Rusty Shepard I don't know what in the world to do. I did not expect to pay my money for my calls to almost never be returned, left several messages, out of almost 2 years he contacted me twice out of 20 calls I've made and left several messages. My son who he's "representing " only saw him twice since we hired him and has been sitting in the county jail abandoned. I don't know what to do anymore other than to seek another attorney. I understand we're dealing with this pandemic and a lot has changed with the courts but the no communication is unacceptable. My son has court this

My wife and I found out on a Monday that we needed a Defense Attorney on Tuesday for a family situation. He is an intelligent and unselfish man. I will call him for any future needs. BTW- I recommend taking Hwy 390 to 18th St. and then down Drake to avoid the curve on 15th St.
