Small Animal Medicine refers to the treatment and diagnosis of smaller animals, such as dogs and cats but also many other species of animals. Our staff is highly trained and experienced in how to care for small animals like dogs and cats. I don’t have enough words to thank all the staff here at Monon Veterinary Clinic from the receptionist to the Dr.
I had beyond an emergency without my dog(Lela) being a patient and this place went above an beyond to schedule her in amid the busy schedule the Dr. had, the service and after care support we received goes beyond the professional calling this place has, Thanks so Much!!

This is the first vet that my husband & I have taken our pets to. We have brought our puppies here a few times & we have had nothing short of a wonderful experience. All of the staff are so kind & welcoming. When my puppies were a little nervous, everyone was doing their best to calm them down & make them feel comfortable. Pricing is within budget, which is very helpful. Thank you to all of the staff, you all do a wonderful job! My husband & I will definitely continue bringing our pets here!

Taken many pets here our last cat ran out our door just waiting to hear for them to call saying they have Nemo over my 20 yrs of going here and helping my neighbor take her dog here they have always been smiles and friendly....posting a picture of out lost old cat, my youngest daughters 1st cat please help him come home call white county animal control and they will take him to Monon Vet, his tags are on..Yes like Finding Nemo hes been with her almost 15 yrs Riley is going thru medical issues and hes her comfort ty.

An update from our previous post about our dissatisfaction with Dr. Sam's attitude towards my wife and myself over our dog's appointment. I received a response from her without an apology for her attitude, and she even threw in about how she doesn't have time to work around busy customers schedule's, we have to work around her schedule. Funny, I thought we paid her for her service's. Then she played the stress card, saying how much stress veterinarian's have, and how high the suicide rates are. So I guess the rest of us don't have stress in our lives. Maybe she should try having a daughter in kidney

Dr. Sam really cares for animals!
The clinic offers boarding services, but the animal has to be up to date on their shots.. which is convenient because they can do the shots during their stay. My mother in law has a pit bull, that loves boarding here. She was well cared for and liked the other animals as well.
Dr. Sam found out she had an issue with her thyroid.. I didn't even know dogs could have thyroid issues. There are so many things that they went above and beyond for the care of animals that I will not get into. But the prices also are reasonable. We paid less for a week boarding

After having gone to both Monticello Animal Hospital and Anderson's Veterinary Hospital with both my cats and being underwhelmed and disappointed, I decided to hike it over to Monon Veterinary Clinic since they have Saturday hours from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The hospital is in a newly renovated house that has a white picket fence around it, a newly tarred parking lot and a warm, inviting, clean, organized, charming interior.
