Elubia's Kitchen is a restaurant/catering business that provides delicious Latin American food. The owners are Elubia and Ruben Orozco. Elubia is from Asuncion Mita Jutiapa, Guatemala, and she learned to cook as a young girl. After coming to the U.S. about 25 years ago, she began to sell food to family and friends in Santa Barbara.
Ruben Orozco grew up and attended school in Santa Barbara. While attending USCB, he worked at his aunt's restaurant in Isla Vista (Lupita's Restaurant), and after graduating, he began to work at San Marcos High School as a computer administrator. One day, Ruben's co-worker Clara mentioned that she had a friend who had just bought a computer and asked if he could help her.

I used to work here for a couple months and plan to again in the future, and I literally had papusas every shift. I NEVER get tired of these things. One day Im going to get fat and happy because I cannot stop eating papusas!!!! And don't get me started on the tamales, oh my lord they're special. You just know that they're made with so much love and care.
Plus the environment is so friendly. Not only were my coworkers all so fun to be around, the customers were all friendly and understanding (even when I messed up their orders, which kind of happened a lot).

Elubia's is a must try for delicious pupusas !
They are friendly and the space is clean!
They have a small outdoor sit down area with a good amount of chairs and lots of shade.
The pupusas are made fresh and are gluten free.
We normally order a family meal with is 6 pupusas with rice and beans for $20. What a deal! Feeds my family of 3
They have many other options on the menu such as tacos, taquitos and enchiladas but once you try the pupusas you won't want anything else! Seriously delicious.

Elubia's is a food stand in Santa Barbara Cider's driveway-turned-outdoor beer garden here in Goleta. The offerings reflect the owner's Guatemalan roots, so if you've had Central American dishes like pupusas and casamiento before, you'll see them here. If you're more familiar with Mexican fare, you'll see familiar items like tacos and taquitos - all with Central American flair.
I opted for a combo plate ($13.95) because it let me try many different items at once. The pupusa, for example, was a hand-sized helping of cornmeal flatbread that came stuffed with the

I tried Elubia's Kitchen for the first time today. I had seen their advertisements on Facebook and decided to give it a try today. Well, things didn't turn out to be what I expected. 3 bad things happened:
1. My order took too long to be ready
2. It was overpriced (other places sell them for $2.50 apiece)
3. The chicharrón pupusa had rancid meat in it (still burping it now)
The venue is nice and very hip for Santa Barbara standards though so I'll give them that. I will give them another chance but this was not a good start.

Went here this weekend for dinner because my boyfriend was excited that their whole menu was gluten free. I didn't think the pork pupusas were that great due to the fact that there was barely any meat or beans or flavor Inside. It was basically mostly the thick corn breading. The potato pupusa was a little bit better but still had barely any flavor. They gave salsas to eat it with but even the salsas barely had any flavor itself so it didn't really help. Not sure if this type of food is supposed to taste this way but I didn't taste much of what the other reviewers were raving about

Everything GF?! Swooon!
Stopped by here on a mini road trip because they could fit my diet. We needed up getting the big papoosa meal because it was cheaper and we were able to get more for the same price. Each papoosa was soft, super yummy, and quite filling. Be warned if you have gallbladder issues that they are kinda greasy. Nothing crazy, but just FYI. The casamiento was meh. It needed more sauce. We had a couple left over that we ate the next day cold, and they were still SO good! The staff were friendly and the food came out relatively fast (10/15 min) despite it being slammed because of

This little mom and pop stand in Goleta is servin some bomb Salvadoran food! Like my goodness, it was super delicious!
My roommate originally showed me this place and really wanted to go because they had gluten free options. Everything on the menu is GLUTEN FREE, which is amazing! They also have vegetarian and vegan options!
I personally recommend getting a Pupusa Plate and trying two different flavors each time you go! I will definitely be back to try more! You have to dunk your pupusa in the salsa's they give you, it is too die for.
Right across the way is a cider company if you want

The arroz con leche was soggy and untasty not all what you'd expect. Popusa was way too spicy to enjoy. The popusa was crumbling. Not recommended.
I have to be fair that I was an Uber Eats order so it might just be that the food doesn't travel well. Except for the Arrox con Leche, a desert like that shouldn't be so soggy that the milk is separated into water and grease.

This place is SO good! I'm Nicaragüence and grew up eating authentic El Salvadoran pupusas in the Mission District of San Francisco where we have a dense Central American population. This place is a MUST try and will end up a regular destination if you like good Latin American food and good alcoholic cider! Did I mention the Santa Barbara Cider Co. which is right there partnering with Elubia's? Yeah.. This place is a hidden jem. It's tucked away in a small area behind some other businesses, so bring your hunting specs! Good luck! Don't miss out! 🤙🥂

Excellent Central American food, satisfying and full of flavour. The staff are nice and super friendly. The partnership with the cider place next door is perfect - who knew that pupusas and cider go together so well!
PS: I wish all the (very yummy) sauces didn't come in separate plastic cups but I guess there is no other option right now, given the current hygiene/sanitation requirements.

Pupusa heaven with this very small outdoor kitchen. Food is take out only . Chicharrones and potato pupusa was delicious. Wife loved her potato pupusa.
Park in front and walk down driveway behind paint store. Cider place provides drinks when open.
Nice that everything is gluten free so my wife is happy here.

My wife and I have been wanting to try the food for a while and were able to try it last night at Santa Barbara cider company. The pupusas were amazing, the spicy salsa was delicious and the taquitos were perfectly crispy and garnished. We'll definitely recommend this place to anyone who is celiac or gluten intolerant (my wife and I are not) but we have friends who are and is always nice to be able to recommend places to them. I want to try her other dishes now.

I finally got to try Elubia's Kitchen now they are open on Saturdays. The family meals are good value and the online ordering was very convenient. Elubia makes the most flavorful rice and beans. I wish I can order a huge side in addition to the family meal, because one box of rice and beans is not enough. The pupusas were so tasty, and the tomato sauce and the the pickled cabbage paired really well with the hearty pupusas. The pickled cabbage reminded me of a less sweet version of pickled cabbage that my dad used to make. The tomato sauce on the other hand reminded me of my dad&apos

If you like Salvadorian food then you must check out Elubia's Kitchen! The food here is not only authentic but everything is gluten-free and wheat free. That doesn't mean the flavor is lacking so don't let that stop you from trying it out. Trust me you would never know the difference!
I found out Elubia is allergic to gluten and wheat hence the reason for excluding it. I find when I eat foods without gluten I don't get bloated or feel blah afterwards so I'm not one to back away from gluten-free anything.
As for the food me and my co-worker went halfers to share one of
