Northern Illinois Recovery Center offers partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment at our drug and alcohol recovery center. Our mission is to help you get clean and stay clean by providing all the tools you need for your recovery. We want to help you get back to living a full and healthy life, surrounded by friends and family.
In the early days of addiction recovery, many people find staying free of drugs and alcohol to be challenging. If they've been using these substances heavily for an extended period of time, these initial days can bring cravings, triggers, and temptations. Fortunately, with the help of the residential treatment center at Northern Illinois Recovery, clients can find support during this challenging but critical recovery period.
Addiction is a complex disease making treatment a challenge no matter who you are or where you seek out support. I have never met a more compassionate clinical team and leadership team that cares more about their clients. The staff goes above and beyond to help make recovery a priority and so that we can keep it long-term. There is no such thing as a perfect place, but NIR comes close. They know one way of recovery doesn't work for everyone and they are willing and eager to work with how you come. If you fall, NIRC is waiting with open arms for you to come back. I would and do recommend this place to anyone wanting help.

This place will tell you that your treatment will be covered by there insurance and push you through the paperwork as fast as possible. After your treatment they will then send you a bill for said treatment including charging 800 dollars for 3 hr phone calls with 12 other people, yeah thats quality treatment.. Also they will constantly push for more extensive treatment they try until they get afew to cave in and finally say yes (upsell). What this place has done is completely illegal and ill be working on a lawsuit if anyone would like to contact me about it (already got ahold of 5 other people

I spent over 90 days at NIRC about a year ago. I had nothing but a positive experience in every aspect. They address the root of your issues as an individual. You are treated like a human being, not just a number. I can't say enough good things about the staff. I was guided and supported by countless people that helped me to not only work through the things I needed to, but also build a mindset to live my best life moving forward. I wouldn't have been able to get sober without coming to NIRC. The staff here is incredible and has helped me better my life. While in treatment I was able to build a huge support network in the area. They helped me apply for jobs, look for sober living, get a sponsor, rebuild relationships with family and friends. Living in their housing helped me build a daily routine and keep structure in my life. I've been to several treatment centers in my life and I would recommend Northern Illinois Recovery Center over any other facility.

This is the best treatment center I’ve ever been to. The staff is amazing and really cares about the clients. They go out of their way for the clients wellbeing. This program is the only one I’ve been too that prepares you for the real world and how to be a productive me ever of society. They allow you to work there once your in the 3rd phase and set up a solid after care plan. I highly recommend this place.

I have been at this treatment center for over two months and the staff is amazing and truly cares about each and every client and their recovery. The groups have a ton of useful information that have excelled my recovery ten fold. All of the staff members will go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need to have the best road to recovery that’s possible for yourself. I’m so grateful to NIRC for helping me to recover from a seemly hopeless state of mind and body.
