I was recently vacationing in Crystal Lake, IL when I ruptured my patella tendon. After surgery, I was transferred to Fair Oaks Health Care Center for rehabilitation. This facility is simply outstanding. The physical therapy department is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and focused on getting the patient back to health.
Carol was a recent patient at Fair Oaks Health Care for short term rehabilitation. Carol says that getting stronger and being able to move around and do things with the kids and her family is what motivates her to keep going in therapy. Carol enjoys doing leg exercises and the arm bike. Carol said that before she came to Fair Oaks, she couldn't really walk and was so weak.
A short term rehab stay is sometimes required after a hospital stay to continue recovery from surgery, illness, injury, stroke, or other conditions. Our skilled therapists work with you to continue your recovery, help reach your health goals and rebuild and strengthen so you can get back home quickly.

I am a current employee of Fair Oaks and it is by far my best work experience I have had. The staff at Fair Oaks show up daily and put in 110% to make sure we provide THE BEST care in the area. We have consistently held a 5 Star rating year after year which speaks volumes to the care we provide! We are a small, cozy place that treats everyone like family. We are in no way perfect but we strive to be the best we can be and give exceptional each and every day. I am so proud to be a part of this team!

Fair Oaks is a wonderful place to work. I spent a lot of time volunteering here and I loved it so much that when I got the chance to work here I didn't let the chance pass by. My co-workers have accepted me just like a person would want to be accepted. Being able to communicate with the residents is the highlight of my job. When you work here, you are showed how much you matter. I am definitely glad that I chose this place as my first job and to get a head start on my healthcare career.

This facility is simply outstanding. The physical therapy department is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and focused on getting the patient back to health. The entire staff is very positive and caring. The nursing staff, CNA’s as well as dietary appear to love working at Fair Oaks and it is reflected in the rapport they develop with their patients

This place is phenomenal! The staff was friendly, patient-to-staff ratio excellent, beautifully clean, and smell-free. Most of the residents seemed to enjoy being there, and I could not blame them! I wanted to move in and don't need their services. Yet.
From my own experience with having to find and put my own mother in a rehabilitation/long-term assisted-living facility, I really wish I would have known about this place then! It is a true diamond amongst quite a large amount of garbage out there.
I went there on a surprise visit with my husband and sister-in-law to check the place out for their
