Every individual receives a 1-hour evaluation where we will listen to your symptoms and issues and then complete a comprehensive examination. We will measure your strength, flexibility, range of motion, posture, and functional movement ability. Then your Physical Therapist will develop a personalized treatment program, to correct the problems discovered in the exam which are causing your pain and/or dysfunction.

It is important that you understand exactly what is going on with your body and what the plan is to address these issues. One of the main goals of our physical therapy plan of care is to educate you so that you will continue to take care of your body long after you leave our care. You will be instructed in specific medically-based exercises which will allow you to move with less discomfort.
Services
The body is a very complex but efficient system and to remain healthy it needs MOVEMENT! Here at ProMotion Physical Therapy, we believe the old adage that if you don't use it you lose it. There are lots of gadgets and trends in rehabilitation, but when you get down to it NOTHING has the success that exercise does.
Physical therapy is typically indicated following orthopedic surgery to facilitate a speedy recovery. Your surgeon will tell you that a patient's ability to regain motion and strength and ultimately return to their daily activities depends on proper physical therapy. Here at ProMotion Physical Therapy, we are specifically trained to restore range of motion and strength without compensation and to prevent re-injury during the recovery process.
Pain is a complex issue that many people deal with on a daily basis. Pain can be a result of sudden tissue damage like an injury or accident which is acute pain or it can be caused by hypersensitivity of the nervous system caused by a disease process or by the pain centers in the brain remaining hyperactive for many unknown reasons.
Balance is a very complex function of our body that requires input from several systems to allow us to be stable and upright when standing and walking. Balance is determined by various inputs from our eyes, our inner ear, our joints, and is impacted by strength and flexibility. Due to this complex interaction of various systems, it is no wonder why so many people develop balance issues.

Several months ago I had rotator cuff and some other shoulder repairs. 4 weeks after my surgery I had a traumatic fall. I was a mental mess after the setback but Denny and Chris kept me upbeat and worked tirelessly to get my shoulder mobile again. They are so wonderful about describing what they are doing and why. I would never have progressed as well as I have without them. Their assistant Mary Grace has been such a huge help for Denny and Chris. She is proactive and always thinking about what the next steps are for patients. Her lively upbeat attitude helps get us through a rigorous therapy session
