When a physician or another medical professional commits an act of negligence that results in the injury or death of a patient, they have committed medical malpractice. If you are injured, have an injured loved one, or you have lost a family member, it is crucial to seek the counsel of an experienced attorney if you suspect medical malpractice.
Though birth defects are rare, cerebral palsy is one of the most common motor disorders in infants. Approximately four in 1,000 births result in complications that lead to cerebral palsy. Unfortunately, medical negligence and malpractice can play a part in causing cerebral palsy. If any of these occurred during the birth of your child, due to doctor negligence, you may deserve compensation.
The safety of the patient should be the most important concern of any hospital or another health care establishment in West Des Moines, Iowa. Unfortunately, it is clear that this is not always the case for all places. Surgical errors and infections can be common if the doctor or surgeon in question was negligent and made a mistake.
If you receive medical treatment or care, doctors and medical workers are required to get your informed consent. This means your care provider must tell you all the potential benefits and risks involved in your procedure whether it be surgical or otherwise. They are also required to provide you with information about alternatives to your procedures.
People of all ages undergo surgeries to fix a serious medical issue or otherwise improve the quality of their life. Unfortunately, all it takes is a split second during a procedure for a negligent surgical error to change the lives of an entire family forever. Surgical errors can lead to infection, serious injury and even death.

I suffered a head injury at my previous employer. The insurance company sent me to neurologist for exams. My first appointment with the neurologist I was sent to gave me a very uneasy feeling. I had asked what to me seemed like a simple question in regards to my head injury and the response was “that’s not my area of specialization”. I didn’t respond and The next thing I heard was “I don’t sign Dr. notes” and I’ll leave the rest out. I returned home and bumped into a friend of mine later that evening. He had asked me how I was doing and explained the situation at the doctor appointment

No one would ever want to find themselves in a position where a loved one has died or has been severely disabled because of a medical error (due to the negligence or incompetence of a "medical professional".) If that would (very unfortunately) happen to anyone reading this review, I would highly recommend contacting the Slater & Norris Law Firm (based on my experience with the Slater & Norris Law Firm), so the individual(s) that committed the medical error is/are held accountable. Tom Slater is a top notch attorney. If they take your case, Tom, Mike Norris, and their support staff will work hard

I got in a car accident about 2 yrs ago and I dealt with mister norris..... my car alone was valued at $6000, and after a year of him sending me on little missions, I didnt even get the money my car was worth. And I had full coverage with state farm. I got from mister Norris a whopping $3000. My mother was in the accident with me and she got her mouth messed up and has got over $20000 in dental bills and he offered her $10000 after 2yrs. All this guy wants to do is steal from you and play on your dime. Hes a joke. I dont know how he sleeps at night.
