Services
I began my professional career as a scientist, and as far from photography as it may seem, science--especially biology--does inform my practice. I have a PhD in biological anthropology from Yale, which I earned studying chimpanzees (and training them to pee in cups for me so I could analyze their hormone levels).
My passion is creating beautiful photographs that tell a story. On your wedding day, I'll capture all of the moments and details that will let you recreate the day for your children and grandchildren. You'll find examples of my work in the galleries section, and details about pricing in the investment section.
I love photographing families! When I look at a photo of me with our older son at age six, floods of emotions come back that remind me of that time in our lives and how it felt to be a mom of two young children (they are now 16 and 12). When I see a photo of my little one with his cape at age 3, I remember how strong the superhero love was.
Bat and Bar Mitzvahs are such a joy to photograph! I am continually astounded by the hard work and motivation I witness with every ceremony and service. I have a teenager myself, so I know this age group well, and love photographing the whispers, trendy dance moves, and laughter that are the hallmark of Bar and Bat Mitzvah parties!
