If we're in the studio, your session will begin by meeting with my stylist for a complimentary makeover, then I will guide you through your own custom photo shoot so you never have to worry about how to move or pose.

I believe our memories are our most precious possessions- so what we capture, how we capture & display them, are critical parts of the process. I am honored that my clients entrust me to help them capture what's most important to them. My ultimate goal is to help people collect a lifetime of beautiful moments & also help them find ways to keep those moments alive for them everyday.
It's a moment just for you- a moment you'll hold onto forever. Bring your favorite clothes- whether that's jeans and a t-shirt or a black tie gown- and then we'll add a few pieces from the studio's wardrobe- a beautiful sequined gown or a special silk from China. After that, you just have to sit back and relax while we take care of your hair & makeup.
Life doesn't stand still when you're in high school and college, and then- in a flash- it's over. Photo shoots are one of the best ways to capture your life right now so you can look back at it years from now. I create your session around you, so we'll begin by talking through what would be the most meaningful to capture and go from there.
Your headshot needs to do more than show someone what you look like- it needs to tell someone a little about who you are. I've worked with professionals in a wide variety of fields for more than ten years and I know how make this painless. I work with you to decide what you want your portrait to say, and then help you find the best wardrobe options.

Karissa takes magnificent photographs! She takes into consideration what's important to you and what you want reflected in the photos while combining her many years of expertise in order to get the best results possible. I couldn't have asked for a more supportive and professional photographer as well as a more comfortable environment. Worth every penny and of course highly recommend :)

I got my acting headshots done with Karissa and could not be happier! Some photographers in the area offer astronomical pricing for both the studio fee and for receiving the photos. Karissa offers reasonable pricing that is generous for the amazing work she does. She makes you feel comfortable and valued every step of the way. I am looking forward to returning to her studio again someday!
