The natural lens in your eye is responsible for many functions but when thinking about cataracts, you can think of your natural lens like a windshield of the eye. The natural lens cannot be cleaned or cleared like a windshield and so a cataract procedure is when we simply replace the foggy windshield or lens.
I've been a patient for 12 years and I am very pleased at the treatment and care I've received. Each doctor takes his time to examine and go over your treatment with you. As you age, your eyelids stretch, and the muscles supporting them weaken. As a result, excess fat may gather above or below your eyelids, causing sagging eyebrows, droopy upper lids and bags under your eyes. Severely sagging skin around your eyes can impact both your appearance and peripheral (side) vision.
Symptoms can vary, and may include: irritation, redness, burning, scratchy or gritty feeling, excessive tearing and blurry vision. Women are more likely to develop dry eyes due to hormonal changes caused by pregnancy, the use of oral contraceptives and menopause. Exposure to smoke, wind and dry climates can increase tear evaporation resulting in dry eye symptoms.

I was quite impressed with the many preliminary tests administrated to give the doctor a clear picture of my eye problems. Everyone was very sweet and accommodating with regard to my comfort. The whole staff was professional and patient. I liked Dr."T" very much. He has a nice bedside manner and I appreciated that VERY much.

The doctor is fine but their scheduling is atrocious.
I got every test done in 30 minutes and then had to wait over 45 min to get to the exam room and waited another 15
I did not even stop at the exit desk because I have never waited less the man 30 minutes just to check me out even when I have already paid
They definitely need to fix the exit desk and not overbooking the doctor.
Sadly I have to go to all kinds of doctors and I absolutely never wait like I do at Texas Eye Care

My doctor is great very knowledgeable and always answers my questions. Just went in for my post op today and the girls at the end of my visit who make my appointments are the sweetest. They remind me of my granddaughters and took very good care of me offering snacks thank you Heather and Mari. Also the gentleman Rodney very kind great conversations with him. Hands down best eye doctor I travel all the way from San Diego, Tx and have had the best experience here.
