I had a return call this morning from Gilman before I even left for work after leaving a message yesterday. They had a repair man here at the time they had set and my hot water was replaced and working, all within 2 hours! Chris was super nice and professional. Highly recommend these folks!!

Get a written estimate! We had several small issues…drips, etc. Out of 4 things we called about, only one faucet was replaced (I supplied faucet). One needed part and I got a quote which was fine. Two issues were not fixed, one being a dripping kitchen faucet which should have been straightforward. All at a cost of $550+ for one and a half hours total labor!!! Seems steep to me! They were polite.

We called Gilman due to the pilot light on our water heater going out, and we were unable to get it lit. (We did call 2 other companies first that we'd dealt with before - 1 said they could come today or Friday - tomorrow is Thanksgiving - and the other still hasn't called back....). Our neighbor recently had service from Gilman and was very pleased. Chris (and his trainee) arrived on time, were very friendly, and quickly figured out what the problem was and got the pilot lit. Thanksgiving will no longer be a disaster this year - our out-of-town guests will appreciate hot showers!!
