Cooking Dolls is a chef-owned personal chef service serving the Greater Seattle Area. We provide weekly meals for families, dinner party catering, host cooking class at your residence and coordinate party rental and mobile bartender for your events. Chinese cooking with Olive from Cooking Dolls was an absolute delight. Her use of fresh and "special" ingredients made the Asian flavors just right. Not to mention that Olive is a thoughtful and passionate chef that is fun to be around and learn from in the kitchen. My sisters-in-law and my mother-in-law and I could not have had a more enjoyable evening with Olive, cooking some very special and delicious Chinese dishes.
Classes are between 2 and 3 hours, depending on the menu, during which time we will prepare 2 to 3 dishes start to finish. Classes can be held in any kitchen in the greater Seattle area. No kitchen is too small to teach in, but also be prepared to use tabletops in living or dining areas as extra class space.
Hi, I am Olive. My relationship with great food is a lifelong one. Over the years, I have traveled the world, enjoying the beauty and variety of world cuisine. I have been to some of the world's greatest restaurants and exchanged ideas with renowned chefs. However, one thing has never ceased to puzzle me.
The setting can be in-home dinner parties, group cooking classes or cooking demonstration in your apartment club house. Whether a cocktail party, family style dinner or plated courses our Asian fusion menu will WOW your guests. I will be cooking from your kitchen weekly and facelift your old eating routine with fresh ingredients.

Olive and Lindsay of Cooking Dolls have catered two dinners for 8-9 guests each for me. What a treat! Designing the menu with Olive's sage advice starts the fun. She is very flexible and clear. No hidden extras to worry about. Olive and her assistant come early, create a delicious creative meal with just the right amount of explanation and leave the kitchen spotless. All I have to do is set the table and enjoy my guests. I have had enough leftovers to have the same fantastic meal again the next day and more. She makes my parties memorable, relaxing and super fun. I highly recommend her!

What a treat! Olive was quick to respond to my initial query with good information, good questions to help her answer more of mine and lots of clarity about what was possible and how she does business. Communication ahead of time was all clear and professional. She arrived prepared and ahead of schedule, turned my kitchen into a professional kitchen with her own tools and clarified our timeline for our party.
