EEA offers environmental awareness & certification training for building owners and operators, contractors and staff as well as individuals seeking employment in the environmental investigation & remediation industry. EEA has been an accredited training provider since 1993.

Our experience includes design and presentation of training programs for the USHUD Office of Healthy Homes & Lead Hazard Control (OHHLHC), the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL), the New York City Departments of Health & Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) and Housing, Preservation & Development (HPD) as well as thousands of individuals and private organizations across North America.

We maintain fully staffed training facilities across New York; in Brooklyn, Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse as well as satellite locations in Manhattan, Long Island, Westchester, Binghamton, Utica and Jamestown.We now offer a number of courses in Spanish, including the asbestos handler, lead renovator and OSHA 10 hour safety course.
Andrew McLellan founded Environmental Education Associates (EEA) in 1992 to provide environmental certification training for personnel involved in the environmental cleanup industry. He is the training director for EEA's accredited asbestos, lead, hazardous materials, mold and safety training programs.
Environmental Education Associates, Inc. (EEA) is hiring a full time, salaried asbestos, lead and mold instructor. The successful candidate must have a strong background in all facets of asbestos abatement and environmental remediation. Minimum 5 years of field related experience and familiarity with adult vocational education.
4-8 Hours - All asbestos certificates must be renewed annually under NYSDOH and USEPA requirements. Attendees must provide proof of eligibility to attend. 24 Hours - For any person who plans the scope, timing, phasing and/or remediation methods used on any asbestos abatement project. 40 Hours - For those who oversee the scope, methodology or quality control on an asbestos abatement project (other than contractor/supervisor).
