I don’t think any other Indian restaurant is even close this good, Pure authentic Punjabi/North India food, no extra oil/spices/ingredients, to the point home style food.
Definitely must try.

I've never had Indian pastries or masala tea, so I have nothing to compare it to. The masala tea was creamy, sweet and incredibly aromatic. You could really taste all the assorted spices throughout every sip. I believe they sell hot food as well, but I ran in to try the tea and some pastries.

Their sweets and matthi especially is brilliant. Same taste as you would get in India. We ordered paneer chhole bhature and they were decent. The bhature were a little oily though. Apart from that

This was truly a massive disappointment. The samosa had no structural integrity as the potato filling quickly fell out all over my plate. The dal makhni was lacking in depth and flavor and I felt that the water I was sipping had more flavor. It was an experience that left me in shambles and I strongly urge others to not visit this place.

The sole reason we choose this spot over some locations in Iselin was to support the business - people of the same community and we have seen them grow since they opened. The food is ok - the sweets are good and fairly priced. However, after a recent experience I won't go back.

The owner was supposed to deliver food to my house for a morning event -- he had the address -- the payment -- and asked my us to call the morning of and let him know what time to deliver the food. The morning of he doesn't answer his phone. We called maybe 10 times before my mother had to drop everything --

Amazing food--curries included. Best saag paneer I've ever had and incredible sweets--try the nutty cashew bar that looks like a granola bar. I'm not Indian or Sikh but I've eaten a lot of saag paneer in my time and and this place was superb

The ongoing pandemic has definitely taken a toll on a lot of businesses and public places since a consumer's mindset to buy anything outside of essentials or to visit a public place like a park or beach, has crippled down significantly. Now by living with what has become the new normal, it is commendable on how these businesses and public places continue to remain open and cater to the general public by following the safety standards. It is now all the more important that we as customers, support these heroes during these dark hours to mankind.

We checked the menu and price before we got

Excellent place to grab some punjabi or desi food.
They have a wide variety if dishes.

I tried the chole bhature and chaa. Piping hot bhature and tasty chole, with raita and onions. Awesome meal. And the chai/tea was amazing. It's masala tea so adrak and masala shooed all the cold away.
Also ordered hot samose. I'll eat them for breakfast.

I'm glad i stopped by here.

They have lots of indian sweets and some pastries too. Black forest and pineapple pastries looked very tempting

The restaurant staff might seem a little bit rough around the edges, but they are sweet people and

Sweets & samosas are great but service is poor. They never bring tea & samosas together. It's always one thing at a time which defeats the purpose of going there for occasional treats of tea & hot snacks!!

Known for its samosa, which is popularly a good takeout option as well. They usually are pretty much open if you wanna have food there but the delivery is a bit slow. Many times they don't have vegetables option though they are listed on menu. So you have to be careful if you are going there with the intention to have a full course lunch or dinner.... Methi and Aloo Paratha's are pretty good takeout option as well.....
I highly recommend the owners of this place to increase staffing and have all the menu items available.

Khalsa is a Punjab restaurant and sweet shop, specializing in a wide variety of fresh mithai and snacks. Everything from the kitchen is made fresh to order, including samosas, a top seller.

They offer a lunch special with a variety of sabzi, though my favorite is the saag and makki di roti, always delicious for lunch. Due to the consistent business for over 7 years, especially weekends and holidays, the mithai are much better than neighboring shops.

We stopped in for a quick bite to break up a long day of traveling. We ordered the veggie samoas, garlic naan, yellow lentils, and vegetables with spices. Service was fast and everything was excellent. It was some of the best no-frills Indian food I've ever had, which is exactly what we were looking for. The owners were very kind and welcoming to us even though the resturaunt was soon to close. If we ever find ourselves in the area again we will happily return.

Didn't get the sweets!
We ordered 2 lunch deals, on their website they say it includes 2 rotis, daal, subzi, rice, salad and sweets
we got 1.5 rotis, no salad and no sweet, told the lady that was billing us that the offer on their website contained sweets too and she didn't understand, or pretended she didn't.
If it wasn't for that would have given 5 stars, food was great and bread was hot and fresh

Very over priced. Although the sweets are the best I have ever had, I couldn't push my self to give a four start rating because of their service and prices. I placed a order over the phone and I went with my son the other day and there was a elderly lady and a elderly man and both were so rushed. I believe these are the owners. Basically threw my order on the counter and told me my total. No Hi? I felt like they wanted my money only. Now listen to this it gets more interesting. Even though I'm Caucasian I know this much, the sauce the comes samosas is included at every shop. I have

I recommend the aaloo gobi and palak paneer. Order your meal with garlic naan and steamed rice. The mango lassi tasted very fresh. It's a great way to cool down a spicy meal. The interior set up is interesting...it's half bakery and half restaurant.
