Dr. Amy Mathew DMD demonstrates the highest level of care for her patients and has enhanced dental training. She is a very caring doctor who enjoys getting to know each and every patient and helping them keep their beautiful smile. Dr. Mathew is a graduate of Boston University School of Dental Medicine.
Unfortunately, dental bondings, composite resin fillings (tooth colored fillings) and old crowns cannot be bleached. Fillings that have discolored indicate that they are either leaking or have secondary decay, so it is best to replace them. A better choice may be to replace them with porcelain laminate/veneers for longer lasting results.
In the past, cavities could only be treated with unsightly metal fillings that are alloys for silver and mercury. These fillings, especially when close to the front of the mouth, are highly noticeable and unaesthetic. Sometimes, the filling is so large that it causes discoloration of the entire tooth.

In order to avoid lengthy procedures & maintain a healthy disease free mouth we recommend recare every 6 months. This allows us to detect early signs of disease & provide appropriate treatment, leading to a favorable prognosis. Sealants protect the occlusal surfaces, inhibiting bacterial growth and providing a smooth surface that increases the probability that the surface will stay clean.

First off I hate going to the dentist, which is obvious by the poor condition of my teeth. Dr. Amy has done many extractions for me and fitted me with a new upper denture and a partial for the lower. I have never been made to feel guilty or reprimanded for the condition of my teeth (part of the reason I was afraid to go). They are professional, friendly and I do feel like family. I can't praise them enough.

I’ve been going to Dove Dental for about two years and I’ve always had a really good experience with them. I was hesitant about going to the dentist during a pandemic but I thought they did a great job trying to keep patients and staff safe. They checked my temperature when I came in and immediately had me was my hands and swish my mouth with a solution of peroxide and water to kill germs in my mouth. I felt really safe and comfortable getting my teeth cleaned and checked there even during the pandemic. I would highly recommend Dove Dental!

I love Dr. Amy (that's what I call her) and Ora. Ms. Ora is the sweetest she was only teasing that other reviewer. They are fast, GENTLE, and patient. I was so afraid at my first appointment but now I trust them and don't worry at all. I have told anyone complaining about a tooth to call. You should too!

I went to this dental office about 4 months ago for a cleaning and to have two fillings done....the experience couldn't have been better, the front office staff was very friendly and accommodating...after i checked in it wasn't long until i was in the back with the hygienist, Kelley...she was very friendly, energetic, thorough and professional...she put me at ease with explaining what was going to be performed and it was a satisfying experience...after the cleaning was done, Dr. Mathew came in to check and to do the fillings...she was very professional and explained the whole procedure to me in

My overall experience wasn’t bad. However, I needed my wisdom teeth pulled and I had to go to another facility for the surgery. Well the facility I went to was amazing and thorough. They told me things dove dental never even mentioned. I had been going to them for 3 years for my annual check ups thinking everything was fine with my teeth. Come to find out, I have bone loss in my teeth. They never performered my comprehensive exam for thorough X-rays, which is covered by my insurance. The staff is nice but please ensure you receiving the right information when it comes to your teeth.

My recent experience at Dove Dental was nothing short then remarkable. From the moment I checked in the receptionist Ora was very helpful and checked me in within a matter of minutes. In no time the Hygentist Kelly who is very friendly and pleasant greeted me and walked me to her work station and did a great job cleaning my teeth. Shortly after Dr. Mathew came in to check on me. She is very energetic & friendly and took the time to get to know me. She then checked my teeth and said she was looking forward to seeing me in six months. I have already booked my next appointment and I am looking forward
