The Montessori School of Cedar Lane, Hunter Mill Montessori School, and Holly Brook Montessori School are sister schools, which have been providing Northern Virginia's preschool children with quality education for the past 43 years. Cedar Lane, Holly Brook, and Hunter Mill offer a complete educational and social environment and utilize the discoveries and methods of Dr. Montessori to help the child develop more fully the potential within him.

Services
At each of our Montessori preschools we offer a Half Day and Full Day program which includes the Montessori Primary Educational program. At Montessori School of Cedar Lane, the Half Day Preschool Program hours are 9:00 a.m. to noon (in the Kindergarten year the hours are 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to noon on Fridays).
Children age 3-5 years and fully toilet trained may be considered for enrollment at Montessori School of Cedar Lane or Holly Brook Montessori School. At Hunter Mill Montessori School, children age 2 years and 9 months to 5 years and fully toilet-trained may be considered for enrollment. Most children enroll in September of the year they turn 3 years.
A child's first and primary teachers are his parents. All parents are encouraged to be true partners with our schools in their child's education and growth. Our schools have an "open door" policy. Parents and custodial parents are encouraged to visit any time. Observations and conferences may be scheduled at any time by the parent or the teacher.
